10 years are soon to mark the day you were taken away. I'll cherish your smile and humble ways. I still think of you, your mom (my adopted abuelita) and Leo. I pray that your family be comforted on this day.

9/11 is more vivid as well as personal to me & all of us at the Church of God the Good Shepherd the "small Pentecostal church she attended" because we lost one of our sisters that day. "Hermana Monsita" was like another abuela to me & it hurt us to see her in mourning. I pray Leo & the family are well. Godbless.

I miss you even if we lived in PR you always called. We still miss that.
I still can"t believe you are not here.
Please watch out for your son and your family up there. We still love you and miss you so much. We still remember you and your big laugh and your fights with Leony when he didn't want to eat. They say I look like you and it's true.I treat my son and daughter the same way you did yours. We love you and we will be seeing you soon up there so you better make some space we have a big family.

To The Medina Family,
Well First I want to go about saying that I am sorry for your loss. From what I read it looks like your family is really close and Ana is a great person. I always admired anyone with the MEDINA last name because that happens to be mine. The crazy thing about it is that your family sound alot like mine (we are close also). Sorry for your loss and It sound like your family is strong and together and thats best.

To the family of Anna:
My deepest sorrow and sympathy, it is very hard to loose someone you love. It's even harder for a child to cope with the loss of his mother. Reading about Anna made me wish I had known her. She sounded like a real nice person and fun to know.
To little Leonardo, I just wanted to say...my heart goes out to you. Your mommy is with god now. I know you feel lonely and you miss her very much but you must be strong. Always remember, she loves you and eventhough your mommy is not there with you in person she will always be there with you in spirit and she will always be watching over you. Be strong, be brave, work hard in school...make her proud.
May god be with you and your family now and always.

To a wonderful friend,
Our sons grew up together ...
they played baseball and went to summer camp together. I have know you all my life, and as far back as I can remember you have been such a hard worker and such a wonderful person, always in a happy mood. Always with your mom and son in mind.
I am so glad I have gotten to know you on a personal level.
Thank you

We are very sorry for your loss of Anna. May her generosity, kindness, life and love live on through those who love her. Our hearts cry with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
