Your name appears in a huge percentage of instagram memorial photos....there is a reason your name is so prominent. May your family and friends be blessed with your memory. May Christmas be bright on the other side.

You are not just a statistic, you are a true loss and we mourn you. You did not deserve this. I'm sorry I never met you. I will not forget you.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

I think Francoise Jean-Pierre was my roommate in college back in about 1972. Last I heard from her she lived on E 6th Street in Manhattan. My sympathy to the family and friends.
