I saw Saranya's face while unwrapping kitchenware that was packed in newspapers. You see the plates were wrapped in newspapers dated from Sept 13, 2001, and as I unwrapped my mother's favourite dishes, I was greeted by Saranya's beautiful face. She is now an angel in heaven, may her soul rest in peace.

I'm deeply sorry for your loss. In remembrance of the 15th anniversary of 9/11, I went thru some photos I had taken during that time. I had taken one of the sign that said Saranya was missing. I've attached it here.
It seems like yesterday. Seeing these photos is hard for me.

I did not know Saranya however the days immediately after 9/11 I met some of her relatives and friends at the registration center for lost loved ones in Manhattan. I was there for my niece, Jennifer Mazzotta, who also died that day. As we were waiting on line we were discussing Saranya and Jennifer. I have never forgotten Saranya's name and wanted to express my deepest sympathies to her family and friends. Sincerely, Lynda Saar

I miss you dearly, Susie. No matter how busy my NYC life gets, you will always be in my thoughts and prayers, and you'll always hold a special place in my heart.
I refuse to accept that you've passed on; it shouldn't have been your time to go. You and your unforgettable smile will remain immortal in my mind forever..

I went to Elementary school with Susie (6 years). And I just found out about her unfortunate passing. It broke my heart. Although we lost contact, I still have very fond memories of of our school and friendship. She was a beautiful person then. I know her family is broken hearted, and all prayers and thoughts go out to them. She will definitely be an angel missed.

I never knew Saranya personally but we went to the same highschool. I saw her in the picture posted up in the following weeks after 9/11 as one of the missing. I'm sorry that we never met but from what I remember Saranya was loved by all her friends. May my prayers give the family of Saranya some comfort in their time of mourning.

I never had the pleasure of knowing or meeting Saranya Srinuan. From her picture and her tribute I've come to see someone that had incredible outer beauty with a unique inner beauty to match.
It is so difficult to believe that someone so young and special could be taken away from us so soon. We all lost something precious that day that can never be replaced.
To Saranya's family and friends, my thoughts are with you.

To family and friends: I am a senior in high school and at my school we are holding a special ceremony to honor the victims of 9/11. Each student will wear a pin- on of a victim on Sept. 11. I have chosen Saranya to be remembered on this day. I have printed out her picture to place on my pin on. She and her family will be remembered in my prayers and especially on this anniversary.

To me Saranya will always be Susie and I had not seen her in very many years until a friend called me and said "Lisa is looking for Susie".
Susie was a part of my childhood, a part of my past that is now gone forever, and I can only hope she is at peace and watching over her family and friends.

Friends & family of Saranya: She does look like a model- very beautiful. I never knew her but she sounds like she would have been a great friend- and an excellent shopping buddy- I agree w/ her taste when it comes to banana republic:) I am signing this "American sister from everytown, USA" b/c it sounds like she was the kind of person everyone everywhere would like to have in their lives.

So very young. The world will miss her presence. Our hearts cry with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

I was touched deeply by your death. My sister told me how much your mother adored you. It moved me to tears. You made your mark in the world in such a short time. Many people live decades without achieving as much as you did. Your exemplary record is one to be remembered.
