Mohammed was a great man who mentored me when I began to work in his department. We always spoke about his son who he loved dearly. He was like a father figure to me. I left the firm in July of that year and that's what saved me. Rest in peace Mohammed.

I lost one of my favorite people, my uncle 'Boyie Mohammed' ten years ago. I spent the day watching the NY tribute to 9/11 victims and their families as well as any news program that showed what happened that day.
I remembered saying to my aunt and cousin then that I wish we can just fast forward time so that the pain we felt in the days that followed would be somehow eased and that maybe life as we know it would be good again. Well, 10 years has gone by and I am happy to say that life does go on and that new life began, the pain, although not as much, but still so real.
To my aunt Lynette and cousin Isha, you are a wonderful inspiration to all of your family and friends for all that you have endured.
To my always smiling, quiet, funny, caring and handsome uncle, I miss your phone calls telling me to come now cause you just finished cooking something you know I liked, for caring about me when you know I was not at my best and wanting to straighten out my then boyfried because he hurt me. That was the kind of person you were. Loving of your family and friends to a fault. You are and will always be greatly missed. Untill.

We are approaching the 10th anniversary of 9/11, and the pain of losing my father is still there. My eyes get full with all the wonderful memories i have of him and all the moments he's missed since his death. I miss my father very much. I wish he was still here. i didn't have the opportunity that Tuesday morning to hug him and tell him how much i loved him. I want to hold him and never let go! On the 10th anniversary of september 11th, I will be at the site once again, to remember and to see your name crave in stone. It is the only memorial place i have to visit...to touch your name...to feel a part of you again (I hope i can, i know that there is going to be a lot people wanting to do the same with their love ones). I share your death with the world, I wish of one moment to have you to myself...just one moment to tell you that I LOVE YOU!

My name is Tony, I worked in Chicago and talked to Boyie almost every day. We never met but it was one of those irreverant relationships where we joked & yelled at each other (in a good way!). When I was talking about coming to NY with my wife, he offered to stay in his newly remodled basement apartment or even drive us around. How generous to someone he never met face to face. I miss him, I miss all my other friends at Dean Witter/Carr, I miss how the world was on 9-10. I promise to keep his memory alive always.
W-Love...Tony P.

So they killed the man that killed my father today...People are calling and asking me how i feel and truthfully, i don't really have any feelings towards it. I think that I'd resigned judgement/revenge for God. So today I guess he will be meeting his maker and will stand before Him in judgement.

I remebered Boyie when I was growing up on Nelson Street. I was a little younger but my brothers knew Boyie very well.
I always knew Boyie as a very quiet dude. I knew his wife Lynette and her brother David was my supervisor at the Trinidad Hilton.
I knew Boyie's mother and dad very well too, as I was walking through the planning, their windows will always be open and the glear from the TV would always cause me to stop and watch a little TV. The good old days.
Boyie knewn all my older brothers because they all lime on the block as we call it. Then I left in 79 and got save and attended the Brooklyn Tabernacle and ran into Boyie and Lynette. I was quite surprised.
Boyie then asked me for all my brothers and we had a flash back to the pass together, I will always ran into Boyie and Lynette on Sunday's while attending church. Hey Boyie enjoy Heaven and I will see you when I get there. I since moved to Delaware.

Today is a very special day for me. Its my father's birthday. I was browsing through all the websites and came upon this one for the first time. To all who knew my father, thank you for all your prayers and words. It's nice to know that people care. It also helps me to keep his memory alive. I loved my father and wished he was here. Today, my life is so different. I'm married, for 2 years now and am expecting my first child this year (june). My father's dream was to be a stay home grandfather. He would always joke that when I start making the "big bucks" he'll retire and take care of me and my kids. That was his pleasure, the joy of his children. My brother Haesu passed away 6 months after my father's death. I also miss him daily. They are both always on my mind and in my heart. But life goes on and God is good. He has given me a joy that i cannot explain. My child will know who my father and my brother was. And he/she would know the great love my father had for them before they were even born and his plans to take care of them. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated and know, that it truly does make an impact on my life, to know that my father still lives in the hearts of many. thank you. Isha

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
