We send our continued condolences to your family . Daily may God give the needed strength to cope with such a sad loss. Dorothy lovingly touched the lives of others and will always be remembered. May the time come when such violent acts will come to an end and families will not have suffer in this way.

After visiting the 9/11 memorial today I saw a white rose on Dorothy's name on the wall and told this is because it was her Birthday. It appears from other posts that she was a kind person with a heart of gold. Bless you on your birthday Dorothy..you are remembered.

Dorothy Temple will be in my heart forever. I met Dorothy when I was 20 years old, when we worked at Maiden Lane. We would have lunch togeather every day. If you seen Dorothy you would also see me and Belena. I loved her so much she was like a mother to me and I miss her forever. Rest in Peace Dorothy.

My mother Florence G. Cohen worked alongside Dorothy in the South Tower and is reported to have last been seen helping her (along with Rose Mary Riso) when United Flight 175 crashed into the building. From all that my mother told me about Dorothy, she was a wonderful woman and friend and I am grateful that they were together in the end. Dorothy, say hi to my mom in heaven for me and God bless you.

I remember the many many times that I would hang out suring our lunch time with Dorothy while working together at the Tax Dept. She was the sweetest person anyone could want for a friend. She was loved all around and brought cheer to everyone around her. She is and will always be sadly missed.

HI, my name is Amanda and I'm a student at the University of Pittsburgh. Here at the university we had a large remembrance ceremony on September 11th, 2002 for the awful tragedy exactly a year earlier. There was a flag placed on the lawn for every victim. Every flag had a person's name on it. The flag I picked up was Dorothy's. I'm sorry that it has taken me so long to post something on this page in remembrance of her. From reading about her, she seems like she was a very wonderful person with a very warm heart and a helping hand. I am sorry that her family and friends had to lose such a wonderful person. She will be remembered always. I keep my flag hanging next to my bed. Just know that someone else out there is remembering her as you are. God Bless.

I am a financial accountant at the University of the Incarnate Word. On September 11 we had several events at the university. One was a memorial Mass at 7:30am which I attended. At the front of the church was a basket with the names of the victims of 9/11. I randomly picked Dorothy's name. I noticed her work which related to mine at the university. I finally read about her today. She seemed to be a lovely person with love in her heart. I am sorry that this was the way that I was introduced to Dorothy. She seemed like a person that I would like to know. I was in New York last year on Sept 26. I could not go to the site then. I will be in New York on Oct 24-25 and plan to place a tribute to Dorothy Temple from the university.

I would just like to say I am so sorry for the lost of Dorothy Temple. I have her great nephew Amari Antonio Temple who is the son of Antonio Temple. I always wanted to meet her because Antonio spoke such wonderful things about her and his grandmother. How they took them places and how he loved her. I just wanted to send my sympathy to the family and wanted to just say at least Dorothy new the Lord. I pray that her passing will be one that will draw her family to Christ and together because life is to short. God bless you and rest in peace Dorothy.

I met Dorothy when she first came to work at the World Trade Center. At that time, we worked on the 63rd Floor of Tower 2. She was a regular person, like any of us, working and making a decent life for herself. She did nothing to deserve this. Please let us remember that.

We are so very sorry for your loss of Dorothy. She must have had a wonderful heart which show by the way she took care of others. Our hearts cry with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
