I worked closely with Chet just before he joined Cantor. He gave a gift to my young daughter, a special dress just because he wanted to do something nice for her. You, and all who loved and knew you, are always in my prayers. You are missed!

As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

I know of a poem from Henry Scott Holland "Death is nothing at all". There was one particular part I thought was very true, and it is as follows:
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was.
There is absolutely unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?
May our hearts be forever warm with the memories of our loved ones. Amen(~_~).

This event shows you how previous life is.
How a person's live can go away just like that.
Life is so unexpected.
No one can predict, what's going to happen next.
You don't know how much you miss a person until their gone.
Cherish the ones you love.
Spend every moment with them.
No matter how much you don't want them to go.
Eventually they will.
They can't stay forever by your side.
That's just the way things work.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

My Prayers continue for your family and loved ones. It has now been almost 2 months since the tragedy but my heart still aches for your great loss. If only I had the words to comfort you.

We worked together many years ago at Dean Witter. I remember you as a soft spoken, kind soul. I'm so sorry that you were lost in this terrible tragedy. My thoughts and prayers go to your family. I hope you are at peace.
