To my cousin- Mark, Yves- names change but the individual remains the same. We take so many things for granted and think we'll have forever to form bonds with each other. And before we know it, our opportunity has passed. I love you Mark. I only wish I used my time wiser and spent more time with you. Your Mom is with you now and I hope that brings you some comfort. I will continue to pray for you.

Tomorrow is the 8th anniverary. If you were still alive today, you might not remember me, but you worked a temp job at my old office before you moved on to Cantor Fitzgerald. It was almost 1 yr after that I found out you were lost that day. I still think of you every year and how you used to laugh when you told us your wife helped pack your lunch...you were a nice and gentle colleague and although I didn't know much about you, that's how I remember you and I'm sure your family would be proud.

I am sorry that you had to leave us this way. I am sorry that I did not think about you sooner. I am now finding out about you leaving us so soon,in 2007 THAT IS A SHAME I CAN HOLD ON TO ANGER THAT LONG. Last time I saw you you were in your new Lexus and I was still angry with you over WHAT? I don't remember. I still wear your ring on my finger and I never took it off. Sorry we did not make it together rest in peace....Love Always

As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

Just wanted to pass on my prayers to the family. I happened to type my name into Yahoo search, and I came upon this sad story. To say the least, it was very shocking to see my own name listed as a victim of 9/11. I would love to know more about Mark if possible. Once again, my prayers go out to his family.

Coming up on almost a year and I still have the hardest time believing you are not around.

You have come up in so many of our conversations. Those good ole days - back in the days - riding through the Stuy in the Buick, going to the Shadow, Finn Bogging on the Deuce, balling in the Nine, 211.

You'll always be miss Finns.

Your infectious laugh and sense of humor always made people smile. Nothing was ever wrong in the world when seen thru your eyes. I can't believe you are gone but I know you are up there making everyone laugh during these trying times. The one regret I have is that we never got back on the court and played one more game. God bless and when my time is finished here, have the ball and your laugh ready for me. I will always be proud of the way you lived your life, my friend.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
