To the family of Darryl Taylor, my prayers are with you. I went to Curtis High School on Staten Island with Darryl he was very intelligent, a pretty good basketball player, and he had a sweet spirit. I was in the World Trade Center the day of the attack and God spared my life. As we approach the 8th anniversary of that tragic day my heart is very heavy for those who lost their lives and those who experienced the horror of that day. May God be pleased with Darryl, he is absent from his body but he is present with the Lord. God Bless!

As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

To The Family of Darryl Taylor,
Please remember that you are not alone in your loss. I didn't lose anyone personally that day but a part of my spirit left me on a day that we will never forget. I pray everyday for those who lost a loved one. May God bring you all strength during times of darkness and may Darryl's memories bring you light.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
