Today I visited the memorial site and for some reason, I was drawn to her name. I decided that I would look her up and find out about the person whose name resonated with me. I am 100% certain that it was with good reason. I have just decided to take a leap of faith and do some things that I am quite passionate about. Reading the words of her husband about the type of woman that she was has truly inspired and encouraged me. I am grateful for the opportunity to have learned about this amazing angel.

Just visited New York for the first time. Saw so much including the 911 memorial. I thought of our company's owner we were proud to have back then. I found your picture on the wall. I wish I could've met you. I thank you for what you did for us. To the ones I work with that were there at the time, we still talk about you from time to time. I still say a prayer for your family on occasion and to all the ones your care about. Never forgotten...

Betty you came into my mind tonight as I watched a documentary on the uk's channel 4 tv station and I can only imagine how tough those last minutes of your life were. A female role model that always reached for the high altitudes. Thanks for inspiration

I came across this website while searching for Betty's contact information. I worked for her in South Plainfield, NJ ten years ago. Being a young ambitious women at the time, I idolized her. She was fearless and dynamic ,but also humble and warm. I know many sucessful executives. Yet ten year have passed and I still sought Betty's advice and approval today. Betty, I have thought of you often and wanted to express my gratitude. As I look through my written references, they have written about my sucess, my tenacity and ability to take on anything(Some of them are still shocked at what this 110 lb 30 something women has managed) You deserve all the credit for that! You ARE the example of all I have worked to be.
Your advice has driven me, encouraged me and never let me down. I will never forget you and your words will always guide me. My deepest sympathy to the Radburn Family

Betty Browne-Radburn,

I miss you every day. I know that you are watching over me now that I am working in the city. I wish you were here to see how big the girls are and how impressed you would be with them. Deirdre misses you terribly and I tell her that you will always be in our hearts. Not a day passes when we don't think of you. You are and always will be an inspiration for all of us. I hope you are resting peacefully now. I miss you and love you!

Betty is my Mother-in-Law. She is greatly missed. She is by far the most inspirational, wonderful, caring woman I have ever known. I beleive she touched more lives than anyone can possibly know. I wish our daughters could have spent more time with her. Our youngest was only a year and a half, and our oldest was only 3. Betty, We promise to never let your two grand daughters forget you and how wonderful you were. We Love you dearly.

Betty was my 1st cousin, her mother and my father were brother and sister. The last time I saw Betty was about 3 weeks before 9/11 at our Aunt Emily's funeral. But I have other wonderful memories of Betty. I remember playing in our grandmother's backyard in the doll house that our father's built and all the holdidays we spent together. Betty will always be rememered by her family in Port Chester, New York where she grew up. We love you Betty. Take care of all the family in heaven. God Bless, your cousin Tina

I remember meeting Betty in 1984 while I was in Denver. I was impressed with her tenacity and fearless attitude within an industry that at the time was male dominated. She accepted the challenge and kept moving up within ISS and became one of the key individuals in the success of ISS. I had great respect for Betty and she was always supportive of everyone and she had a great heart! She always kept in touch with me as I am sure she did with so many others. Always a positive lady who attacked life with 100% effort.

She is missed!

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
