We Remember Him Today, Sept. 11. 2023. Many Prayers for the family- we KNOW that he is in HEAVEN.
About 60 schoolchildren from Notre Dame sang "Let there be Peace on Earth" in Donald's and other's memory. ( My family members were spared this tragedy- my heart goes out to your family.. For you, the tragedy never ended. )
I wore his photo as a badge of his honor today in a VFW service here in Spring Hill Florida. I am a native New Yorker. We had a business in the Twin Tower area; my little boy went to a Nursery school on 15th and 10th, I watched the towers being built as a child. My first one woman art show was held inTower II, in the 70's. Our heart have always gone out to you even if we did not know Donald. We are all family. He IS HERO TO ALL OF US. God Bless.

Hey Daddy Donald,
Another year has gone by and now all I can think about is how we used to sit in front of the TV watching Aliens 1, 2, &3. Aliens part 2 was the best I think, then we would watch star trek. I got to see Cacia, Tia, and Momma Cheryl, they look so good!!! Cacia and I spoke about the video of us girls, when we were prentending to be famous singers and such!!! God, I miss you!!! But, I have those precious memories. Thank you for all your love, kindness, and advice!!! Thank you, Daddy Donald & Momma Cheryl for letting me be apart of your family!!!
love you all always,
Cynthia

Hey there, Donald:
Well, a year has passed and as I feel it, I know that you know that you have been in my thoughts very often.
The pain and the shock are still all too much for so many like me to bear. I hope that your family realizes that there are so many people that miss you and that so many people are hoping that they find some measure of peace as time goes by. It's going to take a very long time for all of us. Your gentle spirit will help to carry us through.
God Bless You, Donald! Smile broadly and rest lightly. Hold on tightly to the Lord's hand and you will be okay.
Love you always,Pinkie

In Memory of Officer Donald A Foreman
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun.
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
May God bless you and hold you close...

At times, I still cannot believe that you are no longer here with us. Every time I come over to visit, I still listen for you to call for Tianna by saying, "Mukamoo, come see Pop-Pop." Things have been so different without you around and at times it is hard for us all to comprehend. Mommy misses you dearly, but she is trying her best to maintain, be happy and accepting of all this. I wanted to say thank you for everything you have done for Tia and me and for helping mom to raise us to be the women we are today. Even though it was hard dealing with some of the things I've done, you were always there to support me. I also wanted to thank you for all the love you gave to Tianna. She misses you! She knows that Pop-Pop is in heaven, but doesn't fully understand why. When she gets old enough we will help her to do so. Lastly, I wanted to let you know that we all love you and will continue to be strong. Wherever you are now, I hope that you're still watching over us and protecting us. Can't wait to see you again. LOVE YOU ALWAYS!!!

I will always remember Donald as (Daddy Donald), that was my name for him. He was there for me at the worst and best times of my teenage years. I was best friends with Cacia, his daughter throughout elementary school. He and Cheryl made me feel like I was apart of their family, even taking me with them to family outings and some reunions. Donald was my Hero, and now he is America's!!! My love to Momma Cheryl, Cacia, Tia, and the rest of the Foreman/Cooper Family! Thank you for all the love and support you have given me throughout the years!!!
Love you all, I will keep you all in my prayers!!!
Love,
Cynthia

Donald:
I am sad that in 30 years our paths never crossed again even though I drove through the Holland Tunnel everyday and worked 5 blocks from WTC.
But, you were beautiful way back when and I always knew that you would remain a beautiful and spiritual person. When I look out my NJ window and see the blue Tribute of Lights reaching into the heavens, I know that you are in good hands. And, I know that I will see you again. Until then, know that you are loved. You seem to have a beautiful and loving family and lots of friends. Find comfort. Everyone is with you. A late Happy Birthday to you! Love to you always.

I remember Donald when he first came on to the Port Authority Police Dept. Donald was a very caring person who loves life. When I retired from the Port Authority Police, then got employed by Prudential Insurance Co., I would see Donald at the Holland tunnel working overtime. When I approached Donald I always say to him, "are you ready to retire" Donald would say maybe in two years. The last time I spoke to Donald was back in November, 2001. I am going to miss Donald. May "God" kept him in his everlasting arms.

I was very sad on the morning of 9/11 to here what had happened to my home town but I never thought that someone who I considered to be apart of family would be hurt! When I received the phone call I didn't know what to think. I just prayed that Donald's soul was at ease! He was a very nice man and hope that Cheryl, Cacia and Tia will be able to get through all of this. May God bless you all.

Donald has been a part my sister Cheryl's life and our family for more than half of my life. I can not think of or remember one significant family event or personal event that he was not a part of. We have countless videos of birthday's, holidays, showers and even my wedding that Donald taped and throughout you can hear him talking and joking. When I visit the house, I miss seeing you sitting in your favorite chair watching your movies. Donald, you are truly missed. I hope that you are at peace. What you did on September 11th and the bravery you showed will never be forgotten. There is a special place for you in all of our hearts. Thank you for giving so much happiness to and sharing so much of your life with my sister and my nieces. We will miss you forever more and we love you. Cherise

Our home will always have your memories. The girls and I miss you dearly. I miss you calling me (baby). I feel like our happiness has been taken away from us. I am happy to know that you, your colleagues, and other facilities, that were not able to come home to families are truly the real heroes. May you all rest in peace.

I remember Donald as being a 'giving' man. He was always helping people. Whether it was giving up his time to counsel youngsters or giving good advice to those who were in doubt, his generosity was truly genuine and from the heart. I would like to extend my condolences to his loving wife Cheryl (my sister), his parents and to the rest of the Foreman/Cooper family, all of you will always be in my prayers. We miss you D.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
