John was a great caring guy. He taught me stamp collecting and was quite generous in giving me a substantial amount of stamps to start my collection. It saddens me to realize that such a grest guy was taken away so early in life!

Wish we could have had more times together post grammar school. You were a kind and gentle person. You turned me on to trading postage stamps. I still have that collection. My heart goes out to your family!

John--We grew up and went to school together. I am so sorry that I just found out and it saddens me to know that you lost your life in a terror attack. My prayers are with your family. You are deeply missed. RIP John..

John attended and graduated from Saint Francis Prep in 1966 with me. Always remember John's smile and hearty laugh. John was fortunate to behave in class and was not punished the way we were in the front of the class. I think that is why John always smiled. John will always be remembered by his classmates. GO TERRIERS!!! We will always remember your kindness and positive attitude. Tom Curtin class of 66 SFP

As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

I was smoking a cigar the other day by the pool and my thoughts were with John. A nicer man I can't name. It was always a pleasure to talk to John on the phone. He is truly missed.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
