I was a classmate of Todd's at Mendon and we were both in the student government. He was our school treasurer and I senior class VP. Todd was the nicest and most straightforward kid I knew. A great athlete. We were on the golf team together. He was good looking, smart and everybody really liked him. The last time I saw Todd was our graduation in June 1985. Losing him so young was a tragedy to the entire PMHS community that can't be healed but I remember him smiling and cheering anybody up who needed it. His legacy lives on!

Our best always to the Pelino family.

You came to Houston a few weeks (months)? Prior to the attacks. I had never met you in person before, yet you were so very nice. We talked at dinner that night with others hoe much your family meant to you. I feel so happy that you seemed to have it all figures out.
You went back to Nj, and I found like it had found a new friend and broker.......
May 18, 2014
You were someone I can never forget because you were good to me. You were one of my brokers for such a short time. You came to visit me, your customer, weeks before 9/11. You showed me pictures of your kids because you were so in love with them. My heart still breaks today that your trip to Houston would be the last time I would see you. I hope your wife and family know how much Todd shared with me about you all that night at a company dinner. It was obvious how much he loved you all so very much

I still think about the events of 9/11 and how much they have impacted our lives today and the affect it had on this great nation. My boys are 10 and 12 and asked me about the events and about the planes back on the 10th this week. I will admit I struggled a bit to talk about that day but I was to tell them about Todd and his Sister in Law Kaleen and how great a person Todd was. He was everyone's friend and he left no one out. I play soccer still today in a Men's Outdoor League and each time I step on the field, I say a small prayer and look up to the sky, asking Todd to allow me to play the best game I can. I dedicate those Sunday's to Todd knowing how great a player he was and how much he loved the game. I think about Todd often as well as his family and pray that they have found peace in their lives. God Bless you Todd and all of the Pelino's!!

Remembering Todd and thinking of the entire Pelino family today. I met Todd when I was ten and grew up playing little league and going to school with him. In high school, he won the class superlative for most school spirit which was fitting because he was the type of person who would show up to watch and cheer on fellow classmates despite his own busy sports schedule. You could not find a person with a bad word to say about Todd. He was universally well-liked and respected by everyone. Though they've no doubt heard it countless times from countless people, I want Todd's children to hear again that he was one of the true good guys in this world and those of us who knew him will always remember him. Thoughts and prayers for Todd and his family.

Todd was my neighbor and 1 year older but he was always nice to me -- even if he made fun of my aerobic class that was next to his intermural soccer game in high school! Now an English teacher in France, I start every school year talking to my students about Todd on or near the anniversary of 9/11. My thoughts and prayers go out to his parents , brothers, wife and children who I am sure still suffer his loss even 10 years later. May God bless you all and I hope that his story has changed some peoples' lives in a faraway land...

I was searching information on my late husband, John W. Pelino, we're looking to set up a writing scholarship. John passed suddently, in March 2007 who's family was from the Italian region of Abbruzzo, town of Pacentro. I am saddened to come across Todd's name during the search, and among the 911 victims, we had no idea. Our belated, and sincere condolences. There are not many names that are close to Pelino, mostly our contacts are in the Aliquippa area, outside of Pittsburgh. We also know of some families in Connecticut, Chicago, and Canada. Of course, the famous Pelino Confetti family of Sulmona, Italy (AQ). Just thinking of you all, reaching out if it's of interest. Again, our sincere, condolences. Am sure like you all, we will never forget.
Sincerely, Karen Pelino (Mrs. John)

My childhood memories are filled with Todd's smile. We spent countless hours playing sports together. Todd was always the nicest person on the field, and often the most gifted.

In 1984, Todd was a senior and I was a sophomore that had just moved back to Pittsford. I heard about a party and showed up, to learn that it was for juniors and seniors only - no exceptions. I was shuffling my feet out in the road, trying to figure out how to get home when Todd and his date left the party. As he walked by, Todd asked me (a complete stranger) why I was not inside. I explained to him the juniors/seniors only policy. Todd nodded his head, went back to the house, had a few words with the host, and then escorted me inside. It was so cool.
Lots of great memories of Todd posted here - that is mine.
Best to the Pelino clan,
