I didn't know Steve, but met his sister Michelle once. She had told me about losing her dear brother. (I'd driven her home in my taxi.)
I'll always remember that day, and all the people we lost, especially Stephen. He and Michelle lived in my hometown of New Milford, NJ. May he Rest In Peace!

How could 18 years have passed, and never going to stop passing. I have grown up now and you have not been there to see it. My wedding, my career-my life. The death certificate states you were murdered. Not only you but those around you, should this day never be forgotten. Everyone who reads this remember that very day and how you felt, the days and weeks after looking and believing in hope that we would find him, and you some how still alive some where. The years of pain to get over not seeing your face. Yet we keep moving on. People dont forget that day my uncle was killed. He never hurt anyone but yet he was punished like thousands of others. The call from him, the last call people are jumping out of the building. Never forget that day because what happened still haunts us. We were all robbed and nothing can replace my uncles life and all that he taught me!

You're in my prayers, brother.

Here it is another year without your cheerful smile and giving nature. To say we miss you doesn't seem adequate, there is a vacant spot in our heart.
You will always remain in our hearts.

Musta been you sighin' so deep

All these years have gone by and I'm ashamed to say that I didn't know a resident in the same town as I was killed on 9/11. God Bless you and your family... you all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

There's nothing I or anyone else can say that will relieve your pain and acute sense of loss. Nor will I say, "I know how you feel." because I truly don't.I hope there are days when you just think of the man and smile at your good memories, not reliving the horror of 9/11. My prayers to you and each and every soul lost that horrific day. God bless you, God bless us all.

I can hardly believe that you now have been gone from us for four years. There is not a day that goes by when I don't think about you and what happened to you. Dear cousin of mine the memories of you will always be with me though out my life. From the first visit by myself without Aunt Frances and Uncle Bill and my siblings you welcomed me, showed me New York like it was my first visit there, even though I consider New York my second home town, you loved the city I remembered that about you you knew it like the back of your hand. I remember the last time I had seen you I was visiting grandpa right after grandma died and went to see your mom and sisters you had been working and we ordered Chinese for dinner, you joked with me about how I had to get home early or grandpa would lock me out, he did not believe in giving out the key you said he was from the old days 8:00 and you had to be in, then when we got back he called to see what time I was coming home and it was only 5:30pm he said it was getting late and we laughed I will always remember that, that had been the last time that I had seen you. I will always remember you and smile God rest your wonderful soul. Let grandpa know that I won't be out to late. Hopefully I will have a key. Love you always and forever and hope to see you in heaven, Cousin Debbie

I KNEW STEVE BACK IN HIS DAYS LIVING IN BROOKLYN IN THE 80'S AND 90'S. WE WORKED TOGETHER IN MY FATHERS DELI AND FROM THERE WE BECAME VERY GOOD FRIENDS. WE WOULD HANG OUT EVERY NIGHT BOWLING ,SHOOTING POOL,GOING TO THE MOVIES OR HANGING OUT AT THE LOCAL BAR. THE ONLY ARGUMENTS WE EVER HAD WAS OVER OUR SPORTS TEAMS. STEVE WAS A MET -GIANT FAN WHILE IM A YANKEE -JETS FAN. IT WAS A GOOD TIME IN MY LIFE.
I WAS CRUSHED TO SEE HIS BROTHER HOLDING STEVE'S PICTURE IN THE DAILY NEWS. I COULDNT BELIEVE IT.
MY CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO HIS FAMILY.

I'm a 9th grader at St.Pius X Highschool in Houston, Tx. At my school, we were given bracelets to remember the people who were lost on 9/11. I was given Stephen. My prays and thoughts go out to ya'll as the Anniversary approaches. We are also having a Liturgy to honor others who were lost. We are going to wear these bracelets for 10 days to remember everyone. I hope that ya'll are doing well.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Stephen's brother Joseph. I did not know Stephen at all, however, in the little time getting to know Joseph, I'm sure that I was seeing a mirror reflection of Stephen. What a decent, hardworking, caring, loving and selfless soul he must have been. Stephen, you are now reaping His promise uttered from the Cross on Calvary, "This day, you shall be with Me in Paradise." MAY PERPEPTUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON YOU STEPHEN. BE AT PEACE WITH CHRIST, NO ONE CAN HARM YOU EVER AGAIN.

Steve was the same age as I was at that time, and I have a similar relationship with my siblings as he did; A good man just doing his job to make a living and gone because of sick people who never learned the joy of life; I didn't have a personal connection to 9/11; now I think I do

We are very sorry for your loss of Stephen. May his life and love live on in those who love him. May the sorrow in your hearts be lightened by warm memories of times shared with Stephen. Our hearts cry with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
