I did not know Paul, but I visited the 9/11 memorial last year and noticed a white rose on his name. I took a photo and later looked up who he was. Paul sounds like he was a kind, gentle and empathetic person. I think about him from time to time and always on this day. RIP to you, Paul and I hope you are resting peacefully.

Another year and remembering you on staircase is as if it happened yesterday. Wish I would have pressured you to keep coming down. You will never be forgotten. One of my first friends at Aon and the sweetest person ever. Your look will always be with me. RIP Paul

Paul,
The time has come again, a few days before your 13th Anniversary in heaven and like everyone else during this time I shed tears reliving that day. My first friend at Aon. You made me feel welcomed on my first day along with the others. I still remember the walk down the stairs as we were joking because we did not really know what was going on. Had I known I would have made you continue walking with Patricia and I, instead of seeing you go back. The look on your face will forever be with me. You had a peaceful look, like you knew. You will forever be in my heart and mind. We don't meet too many people in life to call TRUE FRIENDS and you were one. We didn't know each other long, just 42 days, but real friendships don't need to be years. A few months after the event, Patricia and I got together and talked about you. You were a friend to all of us. I hope you are at peace. You will forever live in those who knew you and who you touched in a special way. THANK YOU for being my friend and for watching over mine and me all these years. You and all that were lost that day are OUR ANGELS.

Paul,
Another year is almost here and I still can see your face on that tragic day. We were all joking coming down not knowing what was happening or would happen. Not a day goes by that I dont wish you would have kept coming down with us. But only GOD knows why things happen. You are and forever will be missed. Your in my thoughts everyday. Still remember my first day at Aon and how nice you were to me. Even bringing me a piece of cake from the conference room lol. RIP my dear friend and know that no matter how many years pass you will ALWAYS live in my heart and thoughts. Til we meet again my sweet friend and this time I will bring the cake.

I joined a group of friends this past weekend for long bike ride in remembrance of 9/11 and carried the name Paul Lisson on my jersey. It dawned on me two days later that I knew nothing about the man I was honoring so I did a little research and I found you Paul. Thank you for your sacrifice and touching our lives.

I was Paul's manager for 3 years at Aon. He was the most loyal, hard working employee I ever managed. His sense of humor, friendly demeanor, and infectious smile was just a few of Paul's best characteristics. He will be missed!!.....sincerely Andre Vidal

I knew Paul as a nice, sweet man. He always said hello and had a huge smile on his face. I worked for AON too, and he helped us when we moved several times. I am so sorry to find out that he did not make it. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends.
He was a sweet person that will not be forgotten!

I hope Mr. Lisson's friend, the one who knew his talent for mimicry, will write it up. It's hard to understand why some dimensions of being are suppressed, but great to know --even though it increases the sadness --of this life and loss. Love.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
