With the anniversary September 11, I have been watching videos on YouTube. I just came across Robert's story. It got me to thinking about him, his family, those lives he graced in his lifetime, and all the other victims, as well. I just want to say that, even though many have forgotten, I can't. I never will. That day we all grieved the loss souls and for what America was. It was a day that we witnessed the worst in humanity and the best in humanity. May Robert rest in peace, and may his loved ones find comfort in knowing that they are dearly loved and respected.

18 years? Around the anniversary i remember watching the shocking events unfold, a million miles away in London.
I knew the world would change forever. I felt involved and affected and couldn't explain why.
Dad (Patrick Phelim Cullen from Minkeeragha Co.Leitrim) met your lovely family some years later while travelling in the US and was told all about you being lost. My thoughts and prayers go to your family and friends that suffer your loss still.
I never met you or know much about you but you will never be forgotten. Rest well.

Bob, I think of you quite often, especially when I'm driving past the steps on Arlington Rd. I'll never forget all the good times we had down there and at the Barn. You always made me laugh. I take my two daughters down the steps and we sit where we use to sit and I tell them all the funny stories. I will never forget you. Miss you. Love you. Always, Pauline XOXO

The Pattison family would like those visiting this sight to know that while we very much enjoy the films of Robert Pattinson, this site is not dedicated to him. Rather it is dedicated to Robert Pattison who was killed on September 11th while working for CBS News on the 110th floor of The World Trade Center.
Thank you. And if you do ever make direct contact with Robert Pattinson do send along our family's best wishes for continued success in his Hollywood career.
Regards,
The Pattison Family

Dear Pattison Family. I was at the cemetary yesterday (9/11) to visit my son's grave. I also stopped by Bob's resting place as well. I noted the new memorial tribute to Bob. It is beautiful. June

Dear Kathleen & family of Robert Pattison,
Recently I was visiting the grave of my son Joel in Burlington, MA. (He died in an auto accident in March 2000.) When I walked the grounds, I saw the memorial stone you placed for Bob. I did a little research and found your tribute to Bob here. After reading your enteries on Legacy.com, I discovered that you were fortunate enough to be able to lay Bob to rest in this beautiful cemetery. As a grieving mother myself, I know how important that is for you. God bless you and give you peace, and also joy in your memories of your son.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
From The Holy Bible (King James Version)
Attributed to King Solomon
To everything there is a season, and
a time to every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born, and
a time to die;
a time to plant, and
a time to pluck up
that which is planted;
A time to kill, and
a time to heal;
a time to break down, and
a time to build up;
A time to weep, and
a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and
a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and
a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and
a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and
a time to lose;
a time to keep, and
a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and
a time to sow;
a time to keep silence, and
a time to speak;
A time to love, and
a time to hate;
a time of war; and
a time of peace.

A Prayer of Faith
We trust that beyond absence there is a presence
That beyond the pain there can be healing.
That beyond the brokenness there can be wholeness.
That beyond the anger there may be peace.
That beyond the hurting there may be forgiveness.
That beyond the silence there may be a word.
That beyond the word there may be understanding.
That through understanding there is love.

To The Pattison Family:
I was so sorry to hear the news of Bob. I knew him since we were about 11 years old (hanging around Clapp School), and all through High School.
I liked him a lot, and I just wanted to let you know that I think of him often.
I do pray for your family, also.
Hope that you all are okay.

To the Family of Robert Edward Pattison,
Hello, my name is Lori Hopper and I am an 8th grader at St.Pauls the Apostle school in Davenport, IA. The September 11th was a tragic event and people will remember it forever. I believe that as a citizen of the United States, I should be there for the families that have lost their loved ones and help them get through this hard time. I pray for Robert Pattison and his family, May God bless him and his family.

There are moments when I feel I can see right through a person's body and see their broken heart. I felt that when I sat with your son last
Friday after picking up the cards. He has such great respect and love for you and is deeply sharing your grief and pain. There were many moments when all we could do was cry. As parents, there is no greater pain then losing a child; especially is such a horrific way. All the holidays, the birthdays, the anniversaries will all be painful, but we must remember all the wonderful memories that our sons left us with. We must hold on tightly to them and keep reaching in and picking out another one when we are at our lowest every day. As often as I cry everyday (and I still do constantly) I also smile remembering many things Kris would say or do throughout his 30 years of life. If you need to communicate, please don't hesitate. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
