As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

In memory....

On September 11, 2002, the Vashon Chorale performed the Mozart Requiem to honor the victims of the
horrific events that took place on September 11, 2001. Yeshavant Tembe was the person I selected to honor with my participation. May he rest in peace, and may his family and friends remember him with fondness all the rest of their lives.

I sang in the "Rolling Requiem" this morning in St. Louis. I sang in honor of Yesh Tembe and wore a badge with his name all day today in honor of his life and with loving thoughts for his family. I was moved to read in his bio that he loved classical music. I'm sure that he loved the Mozart Requiem performed worldwide today. Peace.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
