I did a memorial stair climb today on the 20th anniversary of 9/11 to honor the heroes. We were given name badges of the fallen to carry with us and remember as we did the climb. I was honored to climb for David Marc Sullins, EMT, Cabrini Hospital Medical Center. I read his story and selfless sacrifice upon returning home today. Sending best wishes to his family and just wanted you to know he is still affecting the lives of others. Never Forget. Krista in Dayton, OH

We send our heartfelt sympathy to your family. There are no words we could send that will ever remove the pain of loss but they are used to show that others still do care. With each new day may God give the needed peace and comfort. David touched the lives of others in positive ways and will always be remembered fondly.

He was kind and compassionate with just a little mischeivious sparkle in his eyes.Rest in Peace,Marc...you'll always be close to my heart.Sadly missed,Karen(Ma) R.N

I can't believe that we're coming up to 10 years since that horrible day, and the day we lost you; and almost 3,000 others. I still think about that day, everyday that I'm awake. I still think about you, and the short period of time that we got to spend together. I hope you're in peaceful place. I know I said it on here in 2009, but you still owe me that cup of coffee when we worked 54F Tour 1 together!! =) Miss you brother.

There's not a day that doesn't go by that you're not thought of by me. I still remember that day that you and I met, down by the Cabrini ER while my buddy was dropping off a resume. Then, a few years later, we'd work together at Jamaica. I still remember the last time that you and worked together.....you still owe me that cup of coffee pal!! To my Hero:
On Sept. 11, 2001 we thought we lost you forever.
On March 24, 2002, word finally arrived that informed us you were finally found.
You may be gone from us in body, but your spirit will never be lost to us again.
If the time ever comes for me to act in the manner in which you did, I pray to God that he provides me with the same strenght, integrity & compassion for my fellow man as you did 7 yrs ago.
God Bless you and May you always Rest In Peace my Brother-in-Law.

Marc,
Was a great friend and as I can remember a big brother to me during my first year at Carson Long Inst.
He was always helping me adjust due to the homesickness of this former 6th grader.
I had found out what had happened and was truly saddened to hear the loss of this great human being!
I wish more people were as caring and honest as he was.
Although I havent seen him since 1989-1990, I still think about how he treated me and others.
As I look in the Carsonian, I see a note from him: "To a great buddy, who made my last year a little better then usual, Vlad Iorsh!
Take care.
Your buddy,
Marc Sullins 89"

Marc - We had many good times riding our motorcycles as a tight group and we laughed at the close call at Bear Mountain (amongst many others)! Those were the good old days. Although we always had a blast on the bikes, it's unfortunate that there wasn't more time spent together. It is plainly obvious from the many entries in this guest book that you had an endearing impact on many peoples lives and for that I am grateful!
Your memory is still carried on in the hearts of all of your friends and family! God bless Evelyn and your beautiful boys! I know they will grow up to be great men like their father!

December 21, 2002
As the holidays draw nearer I can't help but think about you Marc and the short time you were in our lives.
It makes me laugh when I think of hanging out in OCMD, you driving that rotten yellow banana of a car, & that time I bribed one of my friends to drive Marirose & I to visit you & Jake at Carson Long...& those NYC New Year's parties! It seems like yesterday doesn't it.
I esp. remember that time when you saved Hunter from choking...even then you knew what to do & sprung into action...should of known back then that you'd make a great EMT!
We miss you so much, and I don't know what else. We just miss you.
Until we meet up again, please know that you are always in my heart & know that you always had a home here with us.
Love, your lil sis Sue
