I spoke to Denise many times when I worked in banking in Sydney Australia. While I never met her face to face I will always remember her warm voice and her greeting of "Hi Hon". I was saddened to hear of the loss of life at Carr Futures and remember Denise to this day.
Rest In Peace Hon

In 2002 my city had a fundraiser by selling American Flags with the names of those who lost their lives. I bought one with Denises name on it; learned many hrs later more about her, and I still have the flag on the original pole and put clear tape over her name to keep it from falling off and I think of her often and feel I have some of her spirit with me. I'm including an image taken of my daughter and I in 2002 and I'm holding Denises flag.

Denise was a friend of mine, I did her wedding video in 1986. Denise was a sweet young woman who was full of life and very ambitious, she was charming, caring and loving, she is missed dearly. May the good Lord bless and keep her family and friends in this time of great loss.

I never met Denise or any member of her family, but I chose her name to wear on my dress as I sang the Mozart Requiem with Reading Choral Society on 9/11/02 at 8:46 AM EDT and offered my voice in tribute to all those who died in that tragedy. I wore the badge with Denise's name all day and offered prayers for her grieving family and friends that they have found comfort and peace in the midst of their pain.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
