Life is good for me with family and still at my job of 9 years at Los Angeles harbor college and 10 more years until I retire.. hope you doing good up there I had some close calls with COVID and cough but I'm doing good..right now can't sleep ..I love you and til we meet again..

It has been ten years that you were taken from us, and you are very missed and still loved with all of our hearts. Luis and I, went to New York for the memorial. And all we could do was cry every time the bell rang and when they said your name. We hope next time we can bring the whole family to show them where there GREAT Grandpapa's name. first we will be going to church, then head over to lomita to attend a ceremony of all the families that lost thier loved ones on sept 11, 2001 and finally head over to carson,ca. to attend another ceremony with singing and vigil candlelight which of course carson goes all out for those on sept. 11..the service was wonderful...

I am hoping this note reaches the family of Luis. I am 23 years old and was a student at the University of Pittsburgh the year following Sept 11. On Sept 11, 2003, a flag was set in the ground of our school for every victim of this horrible tradegy. Students were allowed to take a flag and keep it at the end of the day. I picked a flag and read the name "Luis Clodoaldo Revilla Mier" I still have it to this day and just wanted you to know that it becomes different when you attach a name to a face instead of just reading about the masses of people who lost their lives. Picking up the flag and reading an actual name on it really touched me and prompted me to find those who loved him just to let you all know that he is thought of by people who never even met him, such as me. I see that it was just recently Luis' birthday which is ironic because mine is next week. God Bless all of you, you are all in my prayers.
