Debbie, my very last memory of you is us sitting outside on the bench in front of my family´s bakery on 7th avenue, talking and laughing. You were always making me laugh. You had such a positive way about you.
May you continue to rest in eternal peace. You were unfairly taken away from growing old and taken away from your family and friends.

Hi Debbie,
I personally did not know you, however I just wanted to pay tribute to you. It's kind of funny how I found my way here. I am a senior in high school and we are doing a project on the victims of 9/11. We were told to find a victim who's last name was close to our own. This is how I have found you. I hope you are at peace and watching over your loved ones. I have done extensive research on you and your life and I can tell you had loving family and friends who still remember you and cherish you. You seem like the kind of person who people loved and I am sure I would have as well. Thank you for being you and all my love and prayers to your friends and family.

Deb, my darling Deb. You are missed so very much. Remember when we worked on 5th Ave? Every time I use the word "hello" at the end of a comment, I think of you. I miss your laughter...and your craziness. I miss our monthly dinners--you, me, Martha and Lee. You were such a nutcase, Deb--a nutcase we all loved so very much and continue to love. That was what made you Deb--our Deb. I know you must be keeping everyone in stitches in heaven with your incredible sense of humor. When I think of you I smile. You are also an incredible human being. You and Jimmy touched so many lives. We WILL see each other again--that I know for sure.
Your forever friend,
Anthea

Debbie: Thank you for all the help you gave me when I first started working at the Bank. I was a little unsure of myself and you guided me through some difficult times in an environment which wasn't exactly conducive to personal comfort! I'll always remember our laughing attempts to set up meetings between Herman, Kirk and Kirk!

We are very sorry for your loss of Debbie. The world will miss such and organized and caring person. Our hearts cry with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
