It is many years later. I grew up with Barry on e34th st in Paterson. We were friends for many years
I found out about Barrry' fate and more importantly his heroism on that fateful day..
Barry introduced his Irish Catholic friend to his friends, including Jack Mechanic, and we all hung around together
Barry took me to Synagogue a fe times and to a few Bar Mitzfahs.
I went off to the Navy, Barry to school and we never saw each other again.
My deepest prayers to his family. I am positive you were always in his thoughts.

I, also, just learned of Barry's passing. I too was a fraternity brother of Barry's at R-MC. I remember our many bridge matches. He and John Mayer also said that any match I was involved in was the longest ordeal (I was a novice - they were experts). Barry was always a kind soul and a great guy. Toni and I wish to extend to you and your family our condolences for your tragic loss and pray that you will find comfort in the many good memories you have of your life together.

Mr. Glick was a close friend of my family's. Growing up, I became good friends with his son Jeremy. The Glicks happily hosted me at their home uncountable times.
Mr. Glick's loss continues to leave a huge void for my family but we are certain he gave his life in order to save others and for that we are proud to have been friends with him.

Tonight I spoke with Barry's wife, Judy, and learned that he was a victim of 9/11.
I had known Barry for many years through our association in the Risk and Insurance Management Society where he was a valued member of the Real Estate Industry Group. He was a mentor and friend to so many of us.
May God bless his family. I am profoundly sorry for their loss.

I had the honor of wearing a badge with Barry's name on it, while performing Mozart's "Requiem" - as part of the Rolling Requiem. On Sept. 11, 2002, the Requiem was performed around the world, at 8:46 am in every time zone. I will also wear his badge when I sing at synagogue for Yom Kippur - and say a Mourner' Kaddish for him. May God bless all of Barry's family and friends who feel his loss so keenly.

I was a student in one of Barry's ARM classes. It was obvious that Barry loved his job and family. He spoke of his daughter often. What a loss.

My heart goes out to Barry's friends and loved ones. We had a mutual friend who was also lost with him on sept 11. Her name was Lisa. Whenever I called the office, Barry was always chatting in the background. Many e-mail's that Lisa frowarded to me, came from Barry's desk first. I know Lisa enjoyed working with him, and he was a kind man. My prayers go out to his family. God be with you.

I had the priviledge of knowing and working with Barry for many years at Howden Swan. Only recently did I find out that Barry was among the many who lost their lives this day. May your grief be eased by the fond memories we all shared of him. His passing is felt by all who knew him and many who only know of him.

May the entire family and friends of Barry find moments of comfort in your memories of him, and in the fullness of his life, with so many interests and gifts. There is a richness there that I've only recently learned of from Judy, and that you have all been fortunate to know. I'm so sorry, I can barely comprehend the sadness. Shirley

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

To the Family & Friends of Barry H. Glick:
My husband is a retired New York City Firefighter (6 years retired), and my dad worked for the NYC Transit Authority. I feel a connection to all who lost their lives on 9/11.
I'm sure Barry was doing his job the way most people were on Sept. 11th. I'm so sorry for your loss and the loss of so many dedicated people.
May God keep Barry in His care.
