A kind, open hearted, brilliant man who loves his family - I continue to remember Yuji. I know his legacy continues to live through his family and friends.

Although I never met Yuji, he seems like a wonderful person and a fearless leader. I'm honored to have picked him to remember this year on 09/11. My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family, and may he always live on through them.
God bless.

I recently visited the 9/11 memorial and took a picture with his name in the background. Very sad for the loss. Rip

Mr. Goya will never be forgotten. He was a positive, down to earth gentleman. My prayers are with Mr. Goya and his family, always. The memory of going sailing in the St.Martin with the family will always be my treasure.

We recently attended a 9/11 memorial service in our hometown in Ohio. All were invited to take a handmade rose that were all constructed together to form the American Flag. Each rose had the name of an individual that perised the day of the 9/11 attacks. Our rose had the name of Yugi Goya. Please know that our family is praying for your family and even though it has been 10 years...we will never forget.

I received Yuji's name at a prayer vigil my freshman year of college. I graduated in 2006 and I'm in my 3rd year of teaching. It is important to me that Yuji's friends and family know that even though time passes, nobody has forgotten your lose. Yuji will forever be remembered and I will continue to keep all of you in my thoughts each day!

As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain.
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am the morning hush.
I am the graceful rush
of beautiful birds in circling flight.
I am the star shine of the night.
I am the flowers that bloom.
I am in a quiet room.
I am the birds that sing.
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there.I did not die."

Goya-san,
May you continue to look over your family and friends and may god bless them with the strength to know you are in a good place now.

My name is Abbie and I am a freshman at Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri. Yesterday we held a one year later memorial prayer service in our chapel at school. In preporation for this prayer service many of us wrote each victom of 9-11-01 on an index card with this prayer on the back "O God of All, walk with the wives and husbands, daughters and sons, mothers and fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers, and friends of those who died on September 11th. Amen" We taped these cards on all the walls of our chapel and everyone who wanted to took a card to pray for that person and their loved ones. All the cards that were not taken at yesterdays service will remain hanging until they have all been taken by someone willing to pray for them. I received Yuji and I would like anyone who knew him to know that you are in my prayers. I am personally praying like crazy for him and everyone whose life he came in contact with. God bless you all and please remember...we're in this together. GOD BLESS AMERICA

Goya-san,
You are truly an unsung hero of 9/11. Virtually all of Mizuho Capital's NY staff owe their lives to you and the three other managers whose presence of mind, heroic instincts, and selfless actions enabled the 80th Floor of 2 WTC to be evacuated in time to undoubtedly save lives. The company misses your guiding hand and the world will miss your humanity. May your soul rest in peace!

Goya san, konnichiwa. The last time I saw you was when I was quitting Fuji Bank but my husband Bruce always told me how great you were. Bruce always told me that you were one of the best leaders he has worked for and he really enjoyed working with you. Bruce always complimented your leadership at the bank and how nice person you were. We all miss you very much.

Yuji Goya was a business school classmate of mine. Although I had not seen him in many years, I was deeply saddened to hear of his untimely death. In business school he was a decent, pensive, and level-headed student and classmate. The world has lost a good man.

Yuji was my boss at Mizuho Capital Markets, 2 World Trade Center, 80th Floor. As we were looking at Tower 1 burn just after the first plane hit, he came in and urged us all to leave, saving our lives. He stayed behind to make sure everyone was out, and it cost him his life. I owe my life to him and the other 3 colleagues we lost.
Mr. Goya was a firm, but fair boss, he worked hard, and played hard. He liked ski or sail on his vacations, and came back refreshed and ready to work hard again. He leaves behind a wife and 2 daughters who have moved back to Japan. My heart goes out to them. My family and I will be eternally greatful for his clear thinking and actions on 9/11. God Bless You.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

Looking through so many names of people who have been lost and we will never know, I found Yuji's name. There is so little about him; I wish there were more. My daughter, who lives in Boston, has a Mercy Band with his name engraved on it. To his family and friends, our love and prayers.

I was just scanning the sad long list of names and realized Yuji was from Rye. My brother, Ward was also killed and from Rye. I hope those who loved him and are still in Rye are finding support and love from others. Ward had a wife and children and I wish more information was provided on Yuji to know of any loved ones or little ones he has left behind. Please know I will pray for Yuji and his family and I am so sorry........ Please email me if you would like to.
With sympathy and empathy,
Katie Haynes
