Our village held a 20th anniversary 9/11 observance, with thousands of forget-me-not flowers, one for every person who died that day in the Twin Towers. They distributed the forget-me-nots, each one with a name of a person. My flower had the name of Felicia Hamilton, and so I came here to see some stories from people who knew her. That forget-me-not is growing on my windowsill now, and I promise you, Felicia, that you are not forgotten.

yours was the first name I stumbled upon
Stepping out by the 9/11 memorial on this sunny winter day
In my small way to celebrate and meditate these eternal souls
May your memory continue to shine
With those you touched in your 62 precious years

Dear Felicia,
You are up in heaven now, but I still remember playing hopscotch in front of the house, while you and my mom sat on the stoop, talking. You knew we didn't have it very good, single mom with three kids, but you were great to her and great to us children. Thank you for listening and being there for my mom at these times. I pray for you and your family ,and think of you every 9/11. You were a beautiful soul, RIP.

FELICIA HAMILTON >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN .....

November 24, 2011

Felicia was a nice lady who listen to me when my friend suddenly died and I got the phone call at work she calm me down and prayed for the family. She cared for the younger staff in the department and treated them like they where her own children. She loved her daughet and her grandchildren and spoke them every day she even hung pictures on the walls of her grandchildren and daughter. I knew Felicia for only 6 months the last 6 months of her life. She was a successful business women she told me about her past work history working for Chase and her strong Italian roots. She was always on time everyday and stayed late to get the work done. We celebrated her birthday before 9/11. She would be on the phone with her grandchildren saying Grandma loves you and I could hear them in the background. She spoke of Long Island city and the Jersey Shore where her daugher and son in law who also worked in the company lived. She was close with the women in the department and they had worked together for years at least 8 as far as I remember. I remember her saying to us kids, you kids today don't know what hard work is about and she was right. Felicia was a true worker and had a kind heart. She was family oriented and strong spoken. Felicia is missed by her coworkers and friends from Fiduciary Trust. This department was hit very hard and everyday I live with the loss of all of you. Tom, Michelle, Felicia, Joan and so many more from the firm. God Bless the Ventuara family may your daughter have the strength and will power to find peace in her days for the rest of her life

Felicia was full of life. She was very proud of being Italian and of her granchildren she loved her daughter and her grandchildren she constantley talked about them and showed me pictures. This day was a horrible loss for her daughter the entire company felt her pain. May you find a way to cope on difficult days your friends from Fiduciary!

Felcia,
I remember the 10 months we worked together in the department. We use to talk a lot about life and the struggles of it. How life had changed in the workplace for women.
I never forget your kindness the day I lost one my close friends before 4 months before 9/11. You didn't know the situation I lost it at work. I never thought something like 9/11 would happen and some many of you from the department where lost that day. We lost another girl from my highschool this past weekend the 4th girl from the class..May you look over this family. So many lives shattered of people I knew including your direct family. God Bless Felica... Your coworker and friend 97th floor

Hello Mrs. Hamilton,

I wish I would of had the opportunity to meet you. From all the stories I have heard, I know that looking at Lisa is like looking into your soul as well. She is the most amazing person I know. You should be proud that you raised such an amazing human being. She has such a good soul and I know that comes from you. I know you are so proud of all that she has endured through the last 5 years. She is also one of my closest friends. There is not a thing in this world I would not do for her and the girls.

Dear Lisa-

I knew your Mother Felica, I sat next to her the last 6 months she worked in Fiduciary. She would always talk about how much she loved her you and her grandchildren. She loved being of the Italian hertiage.

Felica was a hardworker, who was a second Mom to the young staff in that area. My mother is around the same age 66. I feel for you, and may love and support come your way through the years. Everyday she would say on the phone Grandma loves you!

God Bless

Ann

Felicia is in my prayers at this time of rememberance. Our church, All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena, California distributed name bands for all those who died, to those attending a vigil held all day on 9-11-02. I did not know her in life. But the fellowship of the spirit, and the stories and messages I have read here give me a glimpse of the wonderful person she was and the deep sorrow of those she left behind. I am glad to hold her in my heart, as you all do.

So I ask that God bless Felicia Hamilton with all the gifts of the kingdom, I know that she is there and at peace with you, Lord. I ask that you heal all the pain of her passing. And God bless America with wisdom and heal the wounds from which this horrible tragedy came. We are grateful for the countless blessings you give to America, God, and thank you for the strength and courage of our people. Give to this family your grace, and may they comforted in their grief. Amen.

I will always remember her.

To Felicia Hamilton's family. I am privileged to wear a Mercy Band in honor of Felicia. I am not able to do anything physical in regards to helping since 9/11. I saw an ad in the Decision Magazine sponsored by Billy Graham, to purchase a mercy band and pray for a particular person. This is what I have been doing since I started this mission a few months ago. I was blessed to hear from the former person's family/friends and sent my band off to them to have personally. Now I wear the one in memory of Felicia. I pray that our thoughts and prayers for this dear woman are felt by family and friends. I'd be honored to hear from some of them as I continue to wear this band. God surround you daily with His Love, Strength and Peace as we all come upon each day, not knowing what is ahead of us either. It changed the world. Praying - Christine Yngve (Ingvee)

Dear Lisa,

I am writing this letter to extend my deepest sympathy for the loss of your Mother and Husband. Since 9/11 I have tried in vain to obtain information on how to contact you. I recently found out about the church service that was held for your mother at St. Mary's. I have visited LIC since the service and have passed by your old house. I reflected upon the wonderful times spent with your family. There are so many things I would like to express to you, so if the time ever becomes right, I'll be here for you. Even though many years have passed, you will always remain my friend. Kathy Cappella

Dear Lisa,

I used to work with your Mom 15 years ago @ MHT. We shared an office at 40 Wall Street. She taught me a lot about the business, and about life. I know you miss her everyday. I just wanted you to know that people she worked with years and years ago still remember her.

God bless, Anthony

To Felicia's family & Gillian of Tacoma, WA, who wears her band ~

I had the privilege of working with Felicia Hamilton on the 97th floor of 2 WTC, at Fiduciary Trust International. She was a very sweet person with white hair and dark brown eyes. She was always one of the first people into work and one of the last to leave. She was a devoted and proud mother and grandmother. Her daughter also lost her husband that day, Anthony Ventura, also of Fiduciary Trust. My prayers go out to the Ventura and Hamilton families. The loss they have suffered is unimaginable. God bless them, Felicia and Anthony. May they be at peace.

Gillian, wear that band proudly for the beautiful soul, whose name it bears.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

I have felicia Hamilton's mercy band. I will pray for her family. If anyone can give me more information on her, I would appreciate it, as it would make it easier to keep her in my remembrances whom I never knew during her life. May she rest in peace.
