Mohammed and I worked together at Epic security. We were both stationed at Time square . Mohammed is from The Gambia and I'm from Senegal. We are brothers from Senegambian . Mo loved to cook meals from our home land . He loves his fried fishes and he always shared his meals with. Will only get upset whenever I tell him that I was full.He dearly called me Mbokka .Might the Most High grant your the best corner of heaven. AMIN YARABNA.

I still remember the day that me and you was sitting in the club. We were joking about the basketball game we were watching that year. I think it was the Lakers and Sixers in the Finals. I still remember the joke you cracked about Downtime the nightclub and how many step you had to take to go up stairs into the club. Man you were taken from this world too soon. You are and in spirt a good dude.

Mohammed, I miss you coming off that elevator to relieve me, singing whatever song I had playing on the radio or whatever was playing in your cd player and all the good laughs we had as co-workers and as friends.

I was house-cleaning and went through a memory box. I found a plaque I made in honor of Mohammed and all the Windows employees after September 11th. So many great memories of him. Eight years on, and it still hurts. Miss you, you were and are a pillar of strength.

I am one of hundreds (if not thousands) of cross-stitchers in the world that has become part of a project that will remember the thousands of people who lost their lives by terriost acts over the last 30 years.
I was assigned to cross-stitch the "Mohammed Jawara" patch that will be found on the memorial flag and I stitched this with both sadness and happiness - but most of all I stitched this with my heart.
God bless, Mohammed! May you be with God today, tomorrow, and always.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
