All these years later, I still think of you and the HYY family. I was honored to be part of that because of you. When I was ready to quit, you saw something in me and forced me to find my voice. I fondly remember the fishing trips and Christmas parties. You made an impact on me and I will never forget you

Each year, I select a 9/11 victim at random and dedicate the day to their memory. Today, Ric popped up. Although twelve years has passed, the emotion still comes strongly as I read about the selected individual. Ric left behind lots of love. I sense that his words and presence still motivates his friends and family in business. Rest easy.

Dear Ric,
It is so difficult to believe you aren't still with us. Your spirit was so kind, generous and playful. I hope wherever you are you're enjoying a good laugh. But you have left a lasting legacy here -- you were the honest one, and showed others that they could work in your business and still keep their souls alive.
Everytime I hear or read about the markets I think of you. God keep you forever.

Dearest Rick, Dan and I are in the midst of planning a wedding for our daughter Chris. We remember how much fun we had at Cindy's wedding. You were terrific. It was so much fun having you here. Then, a short time later we danced at your beautiful daughter, Jennifer's wedding. Those were very happy times. Well, the invitation list for Chris is shorter. We are missing some very KEY people. Yourself being one of them. We think of you often. You are truly missed.

Dear Family,
As a former resident of Montclair, I just want to let you know that we're all still thinking of all of those who have lost their lives and have lost their loved-ones on that horrible september 11th. I hope you'll find the strength to go on and to get through the next few days.

Emeric was bigger than life to us. His passion for his business was incredible. Only in the past few years did I realize, how much of his motivation was because of our Mother. Above all, he was a powerful son, father and brother.

Dad,
Where ever you are I hope you're smiling. You've helped me become the person that I am. Since the 11th I've tried harder than ever to keep making you proud. I love you and know that even in the face of fear & death you held your head high and gave others strength & piece of mind. I will keep your words of advice close to my heart. You will always be my hero, my friend, and my proud father.
Love,
Antoinette

Jenn,
We have wonderful memories of Ric. We may not have always bowled as well as we wanted to on some of those Fridays, but it was always a pleasure to be in his company. He was a warm person with a great sense of humor.
We think of you often and wanted you to know that we're there when you need us.

We remember how you travelled to Calif. to attend our daughter's wedding. What a great time we had then. Then, the following year your beautiful Jennifer got marrried. That was such a wonderful affair. We are so happy to have shared those special times together. We are so sorry to have lost you in this tragedy. We will always remember you and love you.

We are very sorry for your loss of Ric. May his inspiration, his life and love live on in those who love him. Our hearts cry with you in your loss of Ric.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

Our lives would never be the same again as we all heard the events unfold on 9-11. But for all of the families it was a wound that is un-imaginable. May God give you peace and healing in this time. I worked with Ric while I was a reporter and a specialist clerk on the AMEX. he was a great guy and I will always remeber the sense of humor he had. He will be missed terribly by his friends and and co-workers at the AMEX.
