I recently attended a service at Second Church of Christ in Danville, Il. We honored all of the people that died on 9/11. They passed out glow sticks with all of the names of the people who died on that day. My glow stick was for Theodoros Pigis. I was truly honored to be able to pay homage to him. God bless all of you who lost someone that day.

As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

Dear Mr. Pigis. I know it has been a while, but the day you left us was the worst time of everyones life. I tried as best as I could to comfort your wife and children. Anthony and John have been very strong which is what your wife needed. I always considered your children like my brothers and you as a second father. I loved your smile which was so full of life. I only wish that my Husband could have met you,He would have liked you. I know deep in my heart that you are in heaven looking down on us and that you met my mom and your family. Just remember not to get too disappointed if we do something wrong :-)after all we are only human. I miss you alot. One day we will see each other again and it will be with open arms to fill in for all the times missed now.

It matters not how a man dies, but how he lives. The act of dying is not of importance, it lasts so short a time. -- Samuel Johnson

Theo,
You will surely be missed!! You and your family have always been family to me. I hope heaven is all that we believe it to be, and that you will look down upon your wife, children, and grand-children and be pleased. They are a strong and wonderful tribute to your life.
Please ask God and his Angels to sprinkle them with Love and kind blessings... and also ask them to bless your brothers and sisters, who are also in need.
You shall be remembered forever!!
With Love....

Teddy: How lucky my family was to have you as a neighbor. You were the best - kind and honest and strong - a very good man. I always felt better knowing that you were right next door - especially when my mom got sick. I know the two of you are up there - looking out for the rest of us.
Love, Andrea

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
