I had the pleasure of working with Lesley at Capita for a few short years. She was the smartest, nicest, funniest, most genuine and generous person I had ever met. Her tragic death at such a young age is proof that only the good die young. I was lucky and blessed to have met Lesley and to spend a few short years with her. She will remain in my heart forever.

I lived in Sydney and worked on the Sydney Futures Exchange in the 1990's. I did not know Lesley, but know who she was. I saw her once at the NATIONAL GALLERY OF AUSTRALIA, Canberra. I wanted to say G'day, but she did not know or recognize me. I have always thought of her every September since 2001, how she was taken before her time. Rest in peace Lesley. C.B.W.Forbes

Dear Lesley, I never had the honor of meeting you, but like all of the people who lost their lives on 9/11, I have had you in my prayers. I live in Kennesaw, GA, and yesterday at the Kennesaw National Battlefield, the local Kiwanis Club had over 3000 United States of America Flags flying, one for each person who lost their life on 9/11. I took my children, Matthew and Emily there, to pay tribute to our country, and to all of the people we lost. Our governor spoke, and it was a very moving ceremony. I can't begin to imagine the pain the families who were touched directly must feel, but I know my heart goes out to each and every one of them. After the ceremony, the flags that were flown could be purchased. I bought one, which I picked up today. Along with the flag, I was given a certificate, that showed who the flag was flown in memory of. I am honored to say that it was Lesley. I just wanted to share that story with your family, and to let them know we will always honor this flag, and that your family will always be in our prayers.

Dear Lesley,
There is not one day that goes by that we do not think of you. Your lovely smile, your beautiful personality, your amazing glow that made everyone you met feel like someone special. We were very blessed to have you in our family even though it was for a short time. You will forever be a part of our lives. It's been 5 years, but it feels like yesterday that we were all together. MISS YOU!
Love, Katie & Phil

My prayers go along with those who knew and loved Lesley. My hospital nurse in Albq. had a mercy band on her wrist. I got one too and it has Lesley's name. May God's mercy reign over all. Psalm 103.

Lesley,
I purchased your mercy band this weekend. I never knew you and I'm so sorry your life was cut so short by the in-humanity of man. You and your family will be remembered, and prayed for often. Soar high, Lesley.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
