I thought of Jennifer and her family yesterday and every year at this time. Didn´t know you personally, but my daughter many years ago was the recipient of Jennifer Tino scholarship at JCHS. Thank you. Praying for the Tino family. May God bless all of you.

Today, the pastor of St. James (Fr. Ariel) mentioned as part of his homily that all the names of those who passed away were in a basket and that we were encouraged to pick a name and pray for that person.
The name I picked is Jennifer Tino. I don't know Jennifer personally;but, I know she lived her life as a good person and her parents must be so proud of her.
I know she is with all the angels in heaven.
I pray for Jennifer's family and friends who miss her every day.
Psalm 30:5 Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

I was outside at my grill a day after 9-11-2011 with the day old paper and was ready to start the grill with when I saw the obituaries and the remembrance for Jennifer Tino. I read the families heartfelt remembrance and had to look her up to let them know that I care and hurt for their loss. I am so sorry...

Today I was one of 41,000 fans at the Giants-Dodgers baseball game. Upon entering the stadium, I was handed an 8” x 11.5 card containing the US flag on one side and the name, Jennifer M. Tino, on the other side, below the words, WE WILL NEVER FORGET. All the fans held up their cards during a pre-game ceremony and again during the singing of God Bless America in the seventh inning. To Jen’s family and friends, please know that Jennifer had a special place in my heart and prayers today, most especially upon my ride home across the Golden Gate Bridge on a picture-perfect day—a truly great American site.

Tino family-
Lifting you up in prayer on this day. I played soccer with Jen in high school, and she was my friend. Beyond that, even at that young age she stood out in such a special way--a way that you made you want to be around her, and be more LIKE her. She will always be loved and missed.

Tino Family,
I always thought about Jennifer she was a patient at the dental office I worked at, but now that I visit my brother SSG Edward Karolasz who was killed in Iraq in Nov. of 05, I see her also for she is a few feet away from him. I place a candle in her candle holder when I see that it is burned out. The light will help her and my brother. I know we miss them dearly but it's the momories that keep them alive within us. We will never forget. GOD BLESS!!

I remember Jen from Marymount, not just as an alum, but as a resident of College Hall. I remeber her dedication to her studies, her late nights, her kind words and her friendliness. With such a kind heart as Jen had, there is no doubt that she is in peace with the angels around us.
I send my thoughts and prayers to her family and close friends....May God be with you...

I went to Junior High and High School with Jen. She always seemed to be smiling and liked to make people laugh. While I wasn't a close friend of hers she would always make it a point to say hi. My prayers go out to her family.

I was extremely saddened to find Jen Tino's name listed along with the victims of the WTC. I attended Marymount with Jen and was lucky enough to have lots of chats with her while visiting another friend, Sheila Donahue. She was one of those people I wish I had not lost touch with. My deepest regards to the family and friends of Jen Tino. May you find peace in the memory of Jen's life.

Jennifer was my 2nd cousin on my father's side of the family. Her mother Joan, is my cousin. I only met Jen once or twice, but it still hurts when it hits so close to home. I want everyone to know she is in all my thoughts and prayers. All my love to Joan, Sal, Pam, Sal and Jeff.

I went to James Caldwell with Jen. We were good friends then. She always called me "Snoopy"...don't know why, but I never forgot it. Unfortunately we lost touch after graduation. She was one of the wonderful people I knew...always with a smile and an encouraging word. I found out a few days after September 11th that we lost an angel. I was heartbroken. I immediately took out my yearbook and read her entry to me. Her last sentence read, "...and when you look up into the sky and you see the stars shining bright, the twinkling star will be me and all the happiness you've brought into my life." She shining now...brillantly.
May God bless her family...my prayers are with them...yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

To My Old Teammate & Friend -- Jen Tino & Family:
I went to James Caldwell High School with Jen. We were softball and soccer teammates. She was the best soccer goalie I have ever seen. Her spunk, smile and exhuberance always made my afternoons. She was an inspiring player and friend.
I have not been in touch with Jen since high school, but there is no forgetting a soul like Jen Tino. I gave her many a ride home in my black jeep, she would jump out with a big grin and smile. We had so many laughs on the bus going to games; so many winning moments, so many dreams.
There is not a day that goes by since September 11th that I do not think of my old friend and the moment that changed all of our lives. I pray for your family Jen, and I pray for peace to enter their hearts.
Every time I see a picture of those buildings I think of you...it is difficult to get over knowing you were in that building. It brings tears to my eyes and anger in my heart at the senselessness of it all.
You will never be forgotten, keep smiling whereever you are now; always know we miss you here.
Your Old Friend,
Lisa Tobia,
James Caldwell, HS

I just met a woman who worked with Jen. This woman was not in work that day, and remembers that Jen worked in the back near somebody named Sandy. She was very touched as I brought Jen back to her memory. I went to high school with Jen and remember that she laughed alot.. God Bless Your Family Always.

I met Jen at Marymount University and she became like a little sister to me. She was the most caring person and so fun and down to earth. I never knew anyone so dedicated to whatever she did. On Spring Break, Jen was the only person that brought classwork and actually studied! I will really miss Jen, but I know she is looking down on all of us that knew and loved her. I'll miss you - Our little angel.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

Jen Tino was my friend from Marymount University. We spent the same semester over seas in London and we roomed together. She always kept me laughing and smiling as she was the prankster in the house. She was loyal to her friends and gernerous to all. Looking back on our years in college I can only remember good things about her. I'm sorry we lost touch and I'm so saddened to hear she's gone. I want to express my deepest condolences to her family and close friends.
