I met Brian when I upgraded my computer and was selling the old parts. He brought them to build computers for people who couldn't afford
afford to buy them. I mentioned I was a Union Carpenter and he told me he was friends with my Union Brother Brian Potopowitz . Small world! Every time the WTC is brought up I think of him and his loved ones! As long as he is in our hearts and memories he will live on.

Dear friend Brian,
Difficult to believe it has been 18 years. Still remembering your smile and always, good tidings and cheer. I know you're looking down on us, and must be so proud your youngest son is now a young man. How the family must miss you...I miss you. Somber day for me; reflecting back on the good times we shared together.
Rest in Peace,
Baldwin

Brian, still in our minds and hearts. Watched the memorial services to be sure to catch yours. Hoping Pat, Allen and Kathryn are all well and flourishing. Pat, not sure if you'll see this...but if there is a "tribute" car Allen is working on/preserving in Brian's honor, please let me know if/how I can help.

This morning at my church, St. Francis of Assisi, Incline Village, Nevada we remembered the victims of this tragic day 15 years ago. Each person was given a small heart the the name of someone lost that day. Brian was the name on my heart. We have been asked to individually pray for this person and their families. I will be keeping Brian and his family in my prayers today and will never forget this day.
Blessings,

I finished listening to the rebroad-cast of the HS show from 9-11-01 and still I can not believe that it's been 5 years that you have been gone. Life has changed in so many ways but you are and always will be a wonderful memory. I dont see Patti or the kids as I thought I would and I'm sorry.
There are still so many times I wish I could pick up the phone and discuss a new and exciting project, find out the latest trick in the computer trade, or ask your advise on handling life. Whenever I see an old firebird I get choked up or see a stranded motorist I want to stop as you would have, but unlike you I wouldn't know what to do.
I just wanted you to know Brian that your loved and missed tremendously.

As I sit here listening to the names of all who were lost with you 5 years ago,I still can't believe you are gone. The world is a much lesser place without you Brian. You are still thought of constantly and loved & missed by so many.

February 14, 2003
Brian,
I miss you so much. I miss talking to you – the constant emails - spending time with you – everything. You’re such a special man and missed by so many. Always ready with a smile or a helping hand and a bit of sarcasm tempered with that smile of yours.
I hope to meet up with you again one day.
There is a special place in my heart that I’ll carry you in forever.

Dearest Brian, You were the inspiration to my son Brandts life. It was because of you that he found his passion in life which is computers. You have made such a positive impact on his life as well as all the people you have touched. You were always there to lend a hand and we have personally been rewarded with your friendship and the recipiants of your good deeds. Thanks for all the times you've spent with my family, fixing our computers, taking Brandt to his first computer shows, plowing our driveway(without ever being asked) and your friendship. You're life has been an inspiration to me and to so many countless others. Our hearts have experienced pain beyond what I ever knew existed with your untimely passing. Your family is wonderful and Patty exemplifies what it means to be a mother. Our Love for you and your family will only grow stronger and deeper with time. I treasure my time with you and will never forget how special you were. You are so Missed. Words cannot express enough how Wonderful you were. God Bless You and Your Family. They are all so special. Your Loving Friends. Tom and April Weyman

Brian, it's been more than 8 months since you left us on that terrible day. It doesn't get easier, although I don't cry every day any more. John and I went to your memorial service at the end of September and we visited Pat and the kids just about a month ago. Those were two of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but I did them for you. There isn't a soul I talk to who knew you who doesn't miss you like I do. We're trying to get on with our lives, but it isn't easy. I will always miss you.
Love always, your mother

Word spreads slowly - I just found out recently that I used to work with you 5 or 6 years ago. Hardly got to know you, short time, but I do remember a character, an interesting guy, the way the memorial article describes. I'm sorry it ended so suddenly for you, and I feel for your wife and your 3 1/2 year old son. I, too, have a son the exact same age. We visited the site for the first time yesterday, saw the big gap where the buildings used to be, from street level. Saw all the comemmorations by the churches, carried my son on my shoulders, imagined what it must've been like. Perhaps we'll meet again some day.

While I did not know Brian personally, I did work with Patricia for a short time. The way she spoke about him and the things they did to give back to the community and the less fortunate, should make their children very proud. This was a beautiful tribure. God bless!

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
