A sad day for anyone in the Salas family is how I felt to see that two Salas's were taken on that day. I was serving my country on that day with the National Guard and cried to see that one so young was taken from his family. I send best wishes from one Salas family to the other Salas family. Take care From: Rene Salas Family

It touched my heart to find out that a person with the same name as mine died during the 9-11 tragedy. I pray for his family. I am a Methodist minister pastoring a church in Florsville, TX. for the last nine years. I have been a minister for 40 years.

I was given Juan's name during a candlelight march in memory of 9/11 and for peace. I look at his name every day and think of him and his loved ones, and all those who have suffered in this tragedy. I pray for those who have violence in their hearts and minds, that they understand the feelings of loss and that violence will never repair that loss--only love and foregiveness can help.

Your name drew me, as it appeared alone. I send my deepest spiritual love to you and know you must have been cradled by God and are now in peace and complete love.

There is not ONE single day that goes by that I do not think about what happened to all of you...to the innocent people in and out of towers in the surrounding areas, to FDNY's bravest...to the NYPD....to every single soul that died that September morning. YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. I visted NYC with my family in July of 2001...I dragged my family into the WTC and took them to the obesrvation deck because I had never had been in there..neither had them. Those two towers were beautiful....they complimented the skyline so well. We spent nearly an hour on the observation deck....and inside the observation lobby....we had a blast. My towers are now gone....the awesome New Yorkers that made it a living city are gone. I will be back in Dec.2001...and I will break down when I see what has been lost. I am gratefull for having been in there...having experienced the twin towers at their best. They are gone now..but their memory burns furiousely...all of your sould burn FURIOUSELY. To the men and women of FDNY E-10, L-10.....I visted some of you that July morning....my fellow brothers and sisters. God bless every one of you....I hope the ones I met are still alive and ticking. God bless you my brothers and sisters...if I had to do it all over again, I would have applied with the FDNY...the bravest and the best. Every single fire alarm I get in the middle of the night...every single B.S. call....I think back to the unselfish acts of heroism you all did that Sept.morning, pick myself up...grin and bear it and get to work.....appreciative for the life and the awesome responsibility God has granted me as a Firefighter/Paramedic. I thank God for my family...without them I would not be where I am today. I thank God for my Fiancee...soon to be wife. She is the fire in my eye. I thank God for Life...and for all the gifts. Ever since Sept.11, the world has slowly gotten back to the brutality of life....people are STILL killing one another....it is happening in our own backyards. I pray for peace in this world...just plain peace...solitude, tranquility....for the whole world to bond in unity and love. Is it too much to dream for ? It is this dream that makes me wake up in the morning and keeps me content. God bless all those that died that day......all those that lost a loved one or has been affected in some way or another. 9/11..............never forget. Live...love....tomorrow may never come.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
