Many fond memories of us speaking everytime I took the escalator on the 44th floor to the MSWD cafeteria. Just a really great guy whom I still vividly remember. Definitely one of the heroes on September 11th.

Remembering such a kind and amazing person. I met Nolbert through my then boyfriend Alain Bermingham. Nolbert and I became friends and he has always shown care and love for me.. He welcome me with open arms in their friendship circle and often reminded me that don't matter what happens in my then relationship he will always be there as a friend.
Nolbert looking at your picture here on line bring sadness to me yet a feeling of peace that you are in heaven looking down at us and saying don't worry I am in a good place. May God always bless your family.
I love you and will never forget what a great person you were.

Dear, Nolbert,
My name is Loodjhinssy AKA (Sissy), even though I was too little, to remember the facts when you were in Haiti as my Sister's friend, but as I grew older, and I had the opportunity to meet you in New York, I can really say that you were noble, quiet , and ready to give help to whom ever wanted help. The world misses you deeply, and may God bless your family, may your soul stay at peace.

Uncle Nolbert,
Words cannot describe about how I feel about what happened on the day you left us. I wish I had a chance to say goodbye. Even though I really don't remember anything of you anymore, I still remember your smile, and kindness. I love you so much, and we all still miss you. You are in our hearts forever.
Francesca.

Juanley LaFaille

My name is Juanley LaFaille and I am a chilhood friend of one of Nolbert's brother (Edison). Married, father of two beautiful little girls, I currently reside in Ocala, FL. I have nothing but good things to say about Nolbert, unselfish, kind, polite and I always liked him for my older sister on whom he always had a crush but I guess my sister was too young to understand the love of a great man. I never forgot the time when he came over the house to tell my sister that he was moving to New York. As a child, I was about 10,11 years of age, his mother's house in Haiti was like my hang out spot, especially, he used to cut my hair for free. I was about 13 last time I saw Nolbert but I remember the family very well, Dania, Edison, Gerard, just to name a few brothers and sisters. May god bless you all and give you guys all the strenght and courage. Just recently I saw Felix, Nolbert's best friend, who has been living in Paris for many years now, I mentioned Nolbert's name to him and he just put his head down. People like Nolbert never dies, they affect so many people in so many good ways during the course of their lives that their memories live on forever.

I WAS SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR PASSING. MY SISTER ALWAYS MENTIONED HOW SWEET YOU WERE TO HER BUT SHE DID NOT HAVE TO BECAUSE HAVING THE PRIVILLEGE TO BE AROUND YOU WHEN WE WERE GROWING UP PROVED THAT YOU WERE A SWEET QUIET AND NICE PERSON. MY LAST MEMORY OF YOU DATES BACK TO THE 1990'S WHEN YOU TOOK THE TIME TO COME ALL THE WAY FROM MANHATTAN TO SPRING VALLEY TO BRING MY SISTER SOME FLOWERS, A NECKLACE AND A TEDDY BEAR. I THOUGHT THIS GESTURE WAS VERY ESPECIAL FOR IT HAD TAKEN HER SO LONG TO REALIZE HOW MUCH YOU CARED ABOUT HER. YOU WERE ALSO VERY STYLISH. NOW THE WORLD GETS TO SEE HOW ESPECIAL YOU WERE. I WISH MANY BLESSINGS AND PEACE UPON YOUR FAMILY.

To my dear friend Nolbert,
This intro in this Guest Book does not even mention who you are and the difference you have made in the world. Besides being a simple, honest, person, never forget the difference your friendship made in my life or the lives in many at Morgan Stanley. You were the neutral voice of reason when I was having a bad day, and you would always make me laugh.
I know you are watching from heaven, and still laughing. There is probably a TV up there with baseball on it.
God Bless you always my friend. And know that you are deeply missed.
Valerie

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
