Sita- you were a patient at the office I worked at - Downtown Family Medicine. I remember how overjoyed you were when you became pregnant and how Victoria was your most precious gift. When I saw your name that first time, my heart broke. I hope your family is telling your Princess just how much you wanted her and how special her mama was. May you sleep peacefully in Jesus' arms.

Today 9/11/2016. 15 years .went to the cemetery and still can't believe this happened. Can't believe I spent Monday afternoon with you not knowing it would be the last time I would ever see my sister again . So long and yet it feels soooo raw. So glad to see the tribute to all those who inocently went to work and Never came home. Time passed on the calendar but our love for you never faded. WE WILL NEVER FORGET. May god bless you and God bless America.. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Your little sister

Another year ,yet it's seems like that beautiful Tuesday morning and what horror was about to happen. Just found the baby shower pin you made for me in 1997. Just thinking of all the Mondays we used to sit in target and going to Costco eating up all the samples !! As you can tell I'm in aw writing about my sister. Wish you were here to see my sons. One of which you never had a chance to meet.. Miss you , there isn't a day the I stand in front of my mirror putting my lipstick that you don't cross my mind. Rest in Peace . 9/11 is 3 days away , very sore everyday as September begins become a countdown clock until that day.. Then a new clock starts. You are sorely missed. Love Debbie / your little sister..

To my beloved sister, this is your youngest brother David Sewnarine. There is not a day that doesn't goes by that I don't think of you. I miss you so much.
Today I feel like my world has tumble down on me. It felt like it was yesterday. I have so many good memories of you helping to take care of me when I was a kid. I don't even know where to start, whether it was living in Guyana or our first day in America.
First of all, I want to thank you for my first real professional job that you helped me to attain working at Fiduciary Trust 2 WTC 97th floor. We did not only worked at the same company together but she always took good care of each as coworkers having lunch dinner, and going shopping for clothes. I still have the scarf dress shirt shocks and tie you bought me.
I wish I could have stayed back as plan to work overtime to save you. I promise I will tell your daughter everything about you. She is 18 years old and pretty young lady with all your charteristic and Jesus in her life.

Sita, I am visiting the Memorial at the 9/11 site . I come to the remembrance pool and place my hand on the stone. As I
turn my from the water to look at the stone, I see Your name and Mine. I stand in Shock and Grief and think of You. You can never be Forgotten.....even by Me....One who has never had the Privilege of knowing you.

My dear sister, you are forever in my heart.. Love you always. Yet another year and it seems like just yesterday since that tragic day. I remember the I pulled up to a bus stop looking at someone from a side glacé thinking and calling out thinking you we're just lost from trauma and didn't realize where you were only to say to the woman I'm sorry. I thought you were my sister from the trade center.

10 years, but I remember and miss you. I did not see you that morning by St. John's as I was running late. When I reached WTC that morning the 1st plane had already hit. I miss our chats in the morning on the way to work. You was such a devoted mom to your beautiful daughter. RIP Sita.

SITA THIS IS YOUR YOUNGER BROTHER BLUE. WE LOST OUR FATHER WHEN WE WERE VERY YOUNG AND BEARLY KNEW HIM ALSO OUR MOTHER WHEN WE WERE JUST GROWING UP. OUR PARENTS NEVER HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE OUR CHILDERN (YOURS AND MINE)BUT I'M VERY HAPPY WE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE THE LOVE WE HAD WITH EACH OTHER KIDS. IT'S SO SAD FOR ME TO SAY THIS TO YOU NOW WHEN YOUR NOT HERE BUT I GUESS WHEN YOU CAME FROM A FAMILY OF 14 CHILDREN LIKE WE DID WE TAKE OUR LOVE AND SPECIAL MOMENTS FOR GRANTED AND WE HARDLEY EXPRESS THESE FEELINGS. SITA WHEN WE HEARD ABOUT THE 1ST PLANE CRASHED INTO THE WTC CENTER I CALLED JANA (MY WIFE) TO INFORM HER OF THE INCIDENT WHEN I CALLED HER SHE WAS IN TEARS, I ASKED HER WHY ARE YOU CRYING? SHE JUST KEPT SAYING SITA.. SITA.. I WANTED YOU TO KNOW ALL OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS (NOW 12 OF US)KEPT SEARCHING, WORRIED AND GOING CRAZY NOT BEING ABLE TO LEARN ABOUT YOUR WHERE ABOUTS. WE CONTINUE TO SEARCH AND PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY INFORMATION REQUESTED BY THE PROPER AUTHORITIES TO INDENTIFY LOVE ONES. AS THE WTC SITE WAS ABOUT TO BE CLEANED UP THE CHANCES OF FINDING YOU WERE VERY SLIM. BUT IN MY HEART THAT LITTLE HOPE WAS SO BIG THAT IT KEPT ME GOING ON, HOPEING TO FIND YOU. ABOUT 6 WEEKS AGO BY THE GRACE OF GOD, THE AUTHORTIES RESPONSBILE WERE ABLE TO LOCATE SOME OF YOUR REMAINS. IT WAS VERY SAD FOR OUR WHOLE FAMILY TO COME TO A CLOSURE IN THIS MANNER. WE WERE RELEIVED TO KNOW THAT YOU ARE IN HEAVEN AND THIS WAS ONLY A SIGN TO TELL US YOU WERE THERE. OUR FAMILY IS PLANNING A BURIAL SERVICE FOR YOU IN THE NEAR FUTURE. SITA, IF YOU CAN HEAR ME I WANT YOU TO KNOW I THINK OF YOU ALMOST EVERYDAY, ESPECIALLY THE LAST FEW DAYS AND I WANT TO PROMISE YOU THAT I WILL CONTINUE TO LOOK OVER VICTORIA (YOUR DAUGHTER)AS LONG AS I AM ALIVE. SITA MY FAMILY AND I JANA, CHRISTIAN AND PAYNE WILL ALWAYS KEEP YOU IN OUR FAMILY PRAYERS AND IN OUR HEARTS. THIS IS THE SADDEST AND THE MOST DIFFICULT WORDS I'VE EVER EXPRESSED TO ANY OF MY 14 BROTHERS AND SISTERS.
YOUR BROTHER BLUE

I AM ONE OF SITA'S SISTER IN-LAWS. I WISH I COULD EXPRESS IN WORDS WHAT A WOUNDERFUL PERSON SITA WAS, IT'S VERY HARD TO REALLY EXPLAIN THE SPECIAL SPIRIT SHE HAD INSIDE. I HOPE EVERYONE WHO READS THIS WILL LOOK AT THE PICTURE OF HER SMILING AND KNOW SHE WASN'T ONLY SMILING FOR THE PICTURE BUT THIS WAS THE PERSON SHE TRULEY WAS. BEFORE BLUE AND I WERE MARRIED SHE TOOK ME SHOPPING FOR MY WEDDING RING WHICH WE FINALLY FOUND AFTER 8 OR 9 HRS. IN THE CITY THEN SHE GAVE ME MY BRIDAL SHOWER, MY ENGAGEMENT PARTY AND AFTER WE WERE MARRIED MY WEDDING RECEPTION. SITA WAS A SISTER TO 13 SIBILINGS WHO MISSED HER TERRIABLY AND PRAYED FOR HER RETURN THAT LONG SEPTEMBER DAY. SHE WAS A FAITHFUL CHRISTIAN WHO KNEW THE IMPORTANCE OF LIFE, WHICH WAS NOT HOW OUR OUTWARD APPERANCE MAY SEEM TO OTHERS BUT WHAT IS IN OUR HEART. SITA HAD A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE GIRL VICTORIA WHO SHE GAVE EVERYTHING IN LIFE TO ESPECIALLY LOVE. AFTER BLUE AND I WERE MARRIED SHE MADE ME FEEL SO WELCOME TO HER FAMILY LIKE I WAS APART OF IT ALL OF THE TIME. SITA WAS NOT A JUDGEMENTAL PERSON AND UNDERSTOOD THE IMPORTANCE OF TREATING A NEW FAMILY MEMBER WITH RESPECT AND LOVE. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW COMFORTING, KIND AND GENTAL SHE WAS TOWARDS ME. I MISS HER TERRIABLY, MOURN HER DEATH BUT KNOW I WILL JOIN HER ONCE AGIAN IN HEAVEN. I HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART FOR SITA AND WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE EXAMPLE SHE WAS TO ME IN THE WAY SHE LED HER LIFE. I'M VERY SAD THAT SHE IS GONE AND I WILL ALWAYS TELL EVERYONE WHAT A GREAT PERSON SHE WAS SO PEOPLE WILL REMEMBER HER.

Dear Sita ~
I meant to write a tribute when Victoria's birthday came the day after mine, but after losing so many friends on 9/11, I found it more and more difficult to keep posting. I wanted to continue with the tributes today, the 6th month anniversary of when you were lost to us. It breaks my heart to hear that you were on your way out, but were called back in to do your job (disaster recovery). I was comforted to see that you had very strong faith and hope that you are at peace. You were such a sweet person, with a beautiful soul. I can still hear your voice calling me Jan, like Jan on the Brady Bunch. I enjoyed our many talks and was glad I had the privilege of working with you for several years. I will never forget you and keep you and my other Fiduciary Trust friends in my prayers.
God bless you Sita and your family.
Love ~ Janice

You are not alone
When trouble comes, we often say,
"Why did this have to be?"
But blessings come in many ways that sometimes we can't see.
Everything that happens is part of God's eternal plan.
Today what seems a mystery in time we'll understand.
Remember prayers are with you to give you strength today.
Call on those of us who love you
to share with you along the way.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
