Dad,
So often in life, young people worry about meeting and later complain about meeting their in laws, so here I go! I'll never forget your comments to Cholly *Charles Bloomfield IV* when you picked us up at the airport or the drive where you told me I had to taste {Louisiana originating} chicken you were eating, handed it to me, and then took it back. :)
Now for the complaints, after we left you and Mimi Paula's, everyone I met went on about how Cholly looked just like you all the way up to your funeral where you would have gotten a kick out of people having to blurt it out mid sentence without being able to remember what they were talking about being amplified if Jacob or Zachary were near creating so many deja vu moments of you and Cholly at events. You'd've enjoyed that much more than we did.
Last complaint, I MISS YOU! CHOLLY MISSES YOU! KIDS MISS YOU! No one else in the world van cook like you!
Love,
Nik

I met Chuck when he opened a restaurant off of Government St 30 years ago. He made the best chicken fried steaks from scratch. He had a great sense of humor , he liked to laugh and he loved to work and was not afraid to try a new direction in life. He was a very good person. Prayers for his Family and Friends.

Although I have not seen Chuck in many years, I have fond memories of playing golf with him several times at Webb Park. Chuck was always a good golf partner or opponent. He played with passion and determination. I always enjoyed our rounds. I am sorry for your loss and may Chuck RIP.

As a life long friend of the Bloomfield family, I want to express my sincere condolence to Nancy, Jim, Beth, and the entire family for the loss of Chuck. Chuck was a great guy and even though I had not seen him in many years it sounds like he had a great family and led a good life. God Bless Chuck and The entire Bloomfield family.

I've known Chuck for a long time and would see him at LeBerge on our trips back to BR over the past few years. He was well liked among his peers. RIP Chuck.
