Uncle Rudy was a kind and wonderful man. He had a great sense of humor even in the most difficult times. We loved him dearly.

He always looked at the obituaries in the paper every day. When asked "why?" His reply was. "Just want to make sure he wasn't in it." No one but my stepdad could have come up with that answer! RIP Rudy. I loved you.

Billy, Deidre and children, Rudy's daughters and Families~
Oh, how we will all miss this ebullient, kind, personable and Christian gentleman! Rudy was the "sunshine" of White Oak's "day" and spread his sunshine at the Giant Grocery whenever he "took his seat" there. Thank you for that excellent obituary which reflected Rudy's personality and LIFE so well, capturing the essence of this wonderful man who never met a stranger. Oh, how he will be missed physically but he lives on in our hearts and memories daily. His nature will be an icon that will be reflected through you, Billy, and your children as well as Rudy's daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. You are inn my prayers as you grow accustomed to his Earthly absence but you know he is rejoicing with Bernice and Mark at the near hand of God. His long but exemplary life will fill you with happiness as the immediate sorrow diminishes. May God bless and keep you all,, close together, supported in the warmth of your family in the days ahead, mindful of Rudy's and Bernice's nurturing always and
your upbringing in Christian love and values.
