David Hickey passed away on March 15, 2021 at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of the late Carol Hickey nee Smith. He is survived by his two sons, Joseph (Caroline) Hickey, Patrick (LeAnn) Hickey; daughter, Mary Beth (Dave) Billingsley; three sisters, Elizabeth Schuler, Kathleen (Michael) McDonough, Margaret (Richard) Holden; eight grandchildren, David Joseph II, Jacob, Danielle, Caroline, and Darci Hickey, Katherine (Mason) Lewis, Kerri (Sean) Maloney, Timothy (Hannah) Billingsley; and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Edna Hickey; brothers, Richard and Robert Hickey; sisters, Ann Hickey, Mary Katherine. David was a member of congregation at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dardenne, MO as well as several other organizations including the Wentzville Rotary Club, Wentzville VFW, and Wentzville Chamber of Commerce. He proudly served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War and participated in the Honor Flight in November 2019. He will always be remembered as a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Services: Visitation Friday, April 9, 2021 from 5-8pm at Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville, 1545 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville, Missouri 63385. Funeral Saturday, April 10,. 2021, 10:30am, at Immaculate Conception Church, Dardenne Prairie. Interment Our Lady Cemetery, Dardenne Prairie Missouri.
