I remember him wanting to write for the paper like his dad which he did & very well.I always knew him as “Pee Wee” until he got grownOne of the stories that stuck with me is when his mom tried to push a wooden bullet down his throat from a toy gun when he was a toddler & bit her hand to pieces but she succeeded in saving his lifeYou are never supposed to bite the hand that feeds youHe was a wonderful son to his mom & a great nephew to me. Rest In Peace☮from your Aunt Shelia

Very sorry to hear about Howard's passing. I'd known Howard for many years when I worked in the County Judge's office. Howard was a frequent visitor and not only looking for information for the Courier, but was helpful to us if we asked for information. My condolences to Sherrie and family.

Rest in eternal peace Howard. I've been thinking about all the summers we all spent together with mama and daddy year after year. You, Don, Melanie and Russ were more like my siblings than niece and nephews. I treasure growing up with you all with wonderful memories and good times!
