This note is for Mrs. Nelson: we remember the Nelson family at Waterloo Baptist Church during the summer of 1967. Sandra and Roger Salomon, just married students at Baptist Bible Seminary, directed the vacation Bible school in August. Ed was a positive and great influence on my life during this short period of time. Your family and the Bailey's were very kind and generous to us. My wife and I, after graduate school, spent 44 years in the ministry and the Lord allowed me to preach in 48 states. Thanks for being a positive influence on a young couple. May God bless you and your family!

What a blessing to know, Ed Nelson over many years! His infectious smile, prayers for others and his consistent positive attitude as he was a "Light" for Christ in this world encouraged so many in multiple ways he would never know.
