Andrew George "Andy" Bellinger, 75 of Lake, passed at home Thursday, June 17, 2021. He was born in Goodrich on September 7, 1945, the son of William and Rosemary (Ulrich) Bellinger, and was one of twelve children. On September 12, 1963, Andrew married the love of his life, Denise Ann Lofgren, and together they raised their family in Weidman. Andy farmed his whole life and loved being outside, whether it be birdwatching, fishing, or playing with the grandkids. He liked traveling, bowling, playing cards, and watching any and all sports. Andy was a member and leader of Isabella County 4-H, a board member and former president of Farm Bureau of Mt. Pleasant, a member of the Isabella County Fair Board, and a member of the Percheron Horse Association. He also enjoyed selling real estate for Century 21 in Mt. Pleasant. He is survived by his wife, Denise; daughters, Tonya (fiancé Ken Becker) Bellinger of Lake, Michelle (Mike) Morris of Alma, and Cindy (Troy) Smith of Canadian Lakes; siblings, Theresa Bellinger of Mt. Pleasant, Rebecca Bellinger of Leslie, Carolyn (Les) Kaatz of Leslie, and Kim (Shearard) Westbrook of Westland, William (Sue) Bellinger of Coleman, Peter Bellinger of Remus, Matthew (Laurie) Bellinger of Elm Hall, Timothy Bellinger of Mt. Pleasant, Adam Bellinger of Big Rapids, and Rosie (Bruce) Sherman of Hesperia; grandchildren, Trevor, Danielle (Shawn), Parker, Dan and Lorna; sister-in-law, Dawn Flaugher; and many nieces and nephews. Andy was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Patricia Baldwin, his mother and father-in-law Art and Theo Dent, as well as other extended family. A Funeral Service will take place 11 a.m. Monday, June 21, 2021 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton with Pastor Shearard Westbrook officiating. The family will greet friends Sunday, June 20th from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Andrew will be laid to rest at North Brinton Cemetery at a later date.
