Bruce was born and raise in Midland working for the Canadian Steamship Line for many of his younger years, then coming ashore to work at RCA (Mitsubishi) until taking a position with Waypoint Centre (MHCP) where he retired at 62, to enjoy his retirement years with his wife Lois and family.
Over the years he enjoyed cottaging, camping, traveling, boating and he especially enjoyed his love of cars, by cruising around or going to many classic car shows or cruise nights in his 1956 Ford Victoria or his 1972 VW Super Beatle Convertible. Many thanks to Dr. Yu, Dr. Stevens, Dr. Bruno Golisky and the staff of RVH, Home Care staff and GBGH. As well a very special thanks to the Hospice Huronia Tomkins House. This home will hold a very special place in our hearts, the facility is comfortable and very accommodating, but the volunteers and staff make it absolutely amazing. By request, cremation has taken place with a private graveside service at Saint Margaret's Cemetery 809 Younge St Midland, Celebration of life to be announced! Donations would be greatly appreciated to the Hospice Huronia Tomkins House.

Many a good time and lasting memories were made with Bruce and Lois. As the years went by, there were front porch sits reminiscing and laughing at some of the memories made through cross Canada travels or weekend getaways. We will miss those afternoon or evening chats with Bruce but hold the memories forever. Peggy and Reg
