Gary McCool, 67, of Harrisville, passed away Dec. 4, 2021, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Gary was born March 12, 1954, in Grove City. He was the son of the late Jack and Dolly McCool.
Gary graduated from Slippery Rock High School.
He proudly served his country, having enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He served during the Vietnam conflict, and 14 years after.
Gary retired from Ellwood National in West Middlesex. He was a machinist.
Gary was a true Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He loved riding his Harley Davidson Chopper and his Big Dog motorcycle. He and his friends would take trips on the bikes, always making stops at Sheetz. He looked forward to NASCAR races as well.
Loved ones left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Christina Colantoni, and her husband, Michael, of Slippery Rock; and his grandchildren, Tyler Seybert and his wife, Ashley, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Kelsie Seybert of Slippery Rock.
Also surviving are his brother, Larry McCool, and his wife, Bonnie, of Grove City; and several nephews and nieces.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Judy Scialabba.
MCCOOL - The Jamison McKinley Funeral Home in Harrisville, is assisting the family with arrangements for Gary McCool, who died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021.
A memorial service is not scheduled at this time.
Interment will take place at Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.
The family suggests memorial donations be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
