News Death Notice

SEIDER, Richard L. "Dick" age 68, of Huber Heights, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday May 6, 2009 at his residence. Dick was retired from Delco Moraine a Division of General Motors after 34 years of service, a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, an Army Veteran and during his time in the Army Dick played baseball at. Ft. Knox which fulfilled his love for sports. His competitive spirit lead him to coach many different sports and he was an avid golfer. Preceded in death by his parents, Leo & Johanna Seider. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Mary Ann; his children, Rick & Carol of New Carlisle, Cathy Papalios of Huber Heights, and Tom & Regina of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Jessica(Eric) Hatfield, Alex Papalios, Brittany & Amanda Seider; and a host of other relatives & friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Monday, May 11, 2009 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Road with Father Earl Simone celebrant. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Marker & Heller Funeral Home, Huber Heights Chapel, 5844 Old Troy Pike on Sunday from 2-5 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Dick's memory.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Seider family. We are shocked and saddened to hear of Dick's passing. It has been our pleasure to get to know Dick through his and Mary Ann's friendship with our mother. He was a great guy and will be missed. We feel blessed to have known him.
