Betty V. Reilman, 86, of Las Cruces, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born Dec. 29, 1925 in Livingston, Wis. to Roy and Daisy Gray. Mrs. Reilman was retired from the Ysleta Independent School District. She was a graduate of Las Cruces High School. Betty was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of the Blue Bells Square Dance Club of Las Cruces, N.M. She will be deeply missed by all her family and many friends who knew and loved her. Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, George W. Reilman. Betty is survived by two brothers, Grant and Gus Gray; one sister, Myrt Waterfield; four daughters Glynda Hardcastle of Monahans, Texas, Patricia Ashlock and husband Daniel of Avondale, Ariz., Barbara Jewett and husband Steve of Las Cruces and Karen Butler of Austin, Texas; son Don Reilman of Seattle, Wash. and by 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren (with one more on the way) and 3 step-great-grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Reilman's life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday Nov. 10, 2012 at Getz Funeral Home, with Fr. Narcisco Rivera officiating. Inurnment of her cremains will be held at a later date at the St. Francis Columbarium at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
