Will Be Missed
Billie LeRoy Richards, passed away surrounded by his loving family at his home on November 11, 2012 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Bill was a hardworking cattleman and truck driver. He loved hauling cattle and trading goats. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. Billie was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in the New England States Mission.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marian; children, William L. (Chris) Richards; Clark (Krissi) Palmer; Joye (Chad) Staley; Rustin (Kami) Richards; Don (Deb) Richards; Kristen (Darin) Perry; Wacey (Beau Dee) Richards and Weylin (Megan) Richards. He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Lisa Palmer; granddaughter, Tori; and a sister Alta Tull.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Kamas LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 to 10:45 prior to the service. So sad to hear of Bill's passing, but ever grateful for the happy times shared with him during the year my girls and I helped out with the concessions at Basin Livestock Auction barn. Just thinking of him always brings a smile and happy feelings to our hearts. We loved him!
