Shirley was the mom of my dear high school friend, Beth. She was a lovely woman and mother. Shirley tolerated our teenage behavior with more kindness than we sometimes deserved.

I'm a friend of Shirley's son. I had the pleasure of meeting her several times. She was so welcoming and friendly when I visited her home. She and Ken have raised a terrific son. (Beth, I hear you're nice too..Lol!)
Rest in Peace

I have always admired my sister Shirley. She had so many wonderful qualities, especially her ability to write such creative stories about every day life, her travels, her "cats" and whatever she imagined. We were years apart, but grew closer and closer with each passing day. I will miss our talks very much. She was a fine daughter, a loving wife, an amazing mother, and my big sister!

I admire Shirley so very much for her ability to weather so many health challenges with such grace and dignity. She is truly a woman who had strength of purpose and great determination.
