RONNIE EDMISTON Obituary

EDMISTON, RONNIE LEE, SR. - age 63, died Monday, March 11, 2013 at Parkwest Medical Center, Knoxville, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gray and Mary Troxell Edmiston; brother, Douglas Edmiston; infant twin grandsons, Tyler Gray Edmiston and Gordon Joseph Edmiston; and father-in-law, Lewis K. Henderlite. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Henderlite Edmiston of Powell, Tennessee; sons, Ronnie Edmiston, Jr. and wife, Angie of Sharps Chapel, Tennessee and Christopher Edmiston of Powell, Tennessee; mother-in-law, Hazel Henderlite of Atkins, Virginia; brothers-in-law, Donald Henderlite and wife, Judy of Chilhowie, Virginia, Harold Henderlite and wife, Linda of Atkins, Virginia, Darold Henderlite and wife, Janice of Reidsville, North Carolina and Douglas Henderlite and wife, Joyce of Marion, Virginia; granddaughters, Megan and Emily Edmiston of Sharps Chapel, Tennessee and Trinity and Kiley Edmiston of Powell, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel, Marion, Virginia with Reverend William K. Watson, Sr. officiating. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Rosewood Memorial Gardens, Rural Retreat, Virginia. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Flowers are appreciated or memorial donations may be made to The Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, PMB 407727, 2301 Vanderbilt Place, Nashville TN, 37240. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Mitchell Martin and staff at East Tennessee Cancer Specialist in Knoxville and Dr. Madan Jagasia and staff at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.
