Evans, Charles E. 77 years, died Wednesday, April 17 2013 at the Joliet Hospice Home. Born in Joliet, JTHS class of 1955. Past Grand Exalted Ruler of Fort Erie Elk Lodge #167. He is retired from Will County Highway Dept. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Estella Evans, and one daughter. Charles is survived by his devoted wife, Shellia; two sisters, Ethel M. Bankston and Rev. Genevieve Brown, both of Joliet; one son, Keith Evans; and one daughter, Kim (Charles) Bennett; one uncle, nieces, nephew, and a host of friends. A special thanks to Joliet Hospice staff. Funeral services will be Tuesday 7:00PM at St. Paul Baptist Church. Elder Steve Evans officiating. Visitation Tuesday 2:00-4:00PM at Range Funeral Home and 6:00-7:00PM at the church. Interment Wednesday 10:00AM to Elmhurst Cemtery.

I just found out that Charles had passed away we were friends in school from Parks on to Central jr high and then to JT, he always had a smile on his face and a great outlook on life. So very sorry he is gone Rest In Peace Charles I know you are missed by family and friends.
