Brett, Larry H. 65, of Cadiz, KY passed away 10:01 p.m., on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at his residence after a battle with cancer. He was born Tuesday, January 13, 1948, in Joliet, IL, the son of Howard and Pearl Genz Brett. Mr. Larry H. Brett was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in Vietnam. He retired as parts manager from Gregg Motors in Joliet, IL. He was a member of the VFW. Larry is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Senffner. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Diane M. Dickson Brett, Cadiz, KY; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Robin Dziuban, Morris, IL, Daniel and Janice Dziuban, Frankfort, IL; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Gary Boba, New Lenox, IL; sister, Bonnie Rentschler, Minooka, IL; grandchildren, Elizabeth Boba, Jillian Boba, Nicholas Boba, Samantha Dziuban, Kristin Dziuban and Brett Dziuban; great-grandchildren, Hailey Anderson and Holly Anderson; several nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Abraham Lincoln Veteran's Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Goodwin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
