Mall, Charles L. 65, of Montgomery, Illinois, passed away June 10th after a long illness. Mall, a lifelong resident of Montgomery, served in the U.S. Army from 1967-1969. He attended Officer Candidate School in Fort Belvoir, VA and was commissioned as a First Lieutenant in the Army Corp of Engineers. He received the National Defense Service Medal and the Expert Rifleman's Badge. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, June 18th, 11:00a.m. at the Montgomery V.F.W., 121 North River Street, Montgomery.

Chuck Mall, it wasn't supposed to be like this my friend. Hadn't seen you for a long time.and Howie called and told me you were ill. Wish I would have been around to see you off. RIP my brother and I'll see you on the other side.

Growing up in Montogmery, the Mall name was very familiar. My parents were long time friends of Jake and Kitty. My sincere condolences go out to the Mall family.
