Scotty Waddy,
Man bro, where do I start. Our families have known each other since the dinosaurs walked the earth. All the way back to the 1940s. Stanford baby, go Indians was always the war cry at our houses. I have so many memories of you. Most of which I will keep in my heart. I remember your compassion, kindness and love for others. That is what really shines brightest in my memory. I remember sitting with you on the Wolf Chair at your house when we were ten yrs old and eating an entire box of King Vitamin cereal and then racing our dinghy boats up and down the lake as we were so amped up on sugar. I remember when I bought my house in Antioch and it was RIGHT NEXT TO YOURS!!!!! I had no freaking idea you were living there when I bought it. Not only did we grow up next to each other at Tahoe, but the spirits of my mom, uncle and all the rest brought us together again. Amazing experience and I am sure it will never again be repeated. You were my oldest friend and I will never, ever forget you. Godspeed brother, see you on the other side.

Scotty,
I actually cannot believe that I have to write this.
A long time ago we met at your mother´s house and you took me and my cousin Fred in like brothers.
There are only very few special times in a person´s life and the time we spent with you was definitely one of them. Scott, we had some fun.
Your smile was big and so was your heart.
We miss you and you will be not forgotten!
I have no idea what happened to you, I am only hoping and praying that you are in a better place now.

Today is the day when I have to say goodbye to you and I am not looking forward to it at all, but I am thankful for the time that we shared and the wonderful friendship you brought into my life. You were always there for your friends, offering help without even being asked, and never asking for anything in return. You will be dearly missed and never forgotten but it is good to know that you are at peace now. ;-)
