Thanks to Mary Lou's interest in family history our family has quite a bit of information about our ancestry. Bob was a cousin of my Dad, Carl Madden, and Mary Lou had contacted him concerning backgrounds. Dad sent me to visit in Monticello and both Mary Lou and Bob took me to lunch and made me feel a part of their family. Mary Lou loaned much of her work and I was able to put together our family history. We send our prayers and know that her memory will be carried on thanks to all her work on the Madden family tree.

Love and prayers to you and all your family at this sad time in all your lives. Mary Lou and I were co-scout leaders when Karen and our Bette were young. It brings back some warm thoughts from those happy times.

I was saddened to read about Mary Lou's passing. She and Bob were such dear friends of my parents, John and Jeanne Matthews (both are deceased). I remember when her and Bob came down to Nashville, TN and took me out to dinner! That was in the 70's! Mary Lou also wrote in my mother's guest book when she passed away. She lived a full life and I hope she rests in peace.

I am so sorry to read of Mrs. Madden's passing. I spent alot of time as a child at the Madden's both on Euclid and Audubon Rd. She was always so good to me, even with all the little Madden's running around! I will always remember her kindness to me.
